Ai holds up the Lupick claws she has for daggers and gets into a battle stance.

“These claws are pretty sharp. I’m sure they’ll cut tentacles just as well as anything else.” Ai says.

“I hope you’re right.” Eve says and gets into a battle stance as well.

The two of them walk towards the Writhing Mass, each on a different side of it. Once they are close enough the towerling starts to react to their presence. It extends several tentacles to Eve, who quickly cuts at a them, only for her daggers to barely slice at the tentacles, with them being much thicker then she realized. Then several were sent at Ai who tries to cut them as well, only to have about the same luck. As the Writhing mass sends out more tentacles at the duo, one of them wraps around Eveline's leg, and starts dragging her in towards the rest of the tentacles, where Eveline throws her dagger into it's eye, blinding the creature.

But it doesn't let go of Eveline's leg, and only drags her inward further as the rest of it's tentacles desperately grasp looking for Ai, as several other tentacles wrap around Eveline's legs, pulling her in further.

Eveline quickly yells "GET OUT OF HERE" towards Ai, as the Writhing Mass continues to fumble around with some of it's tentacles looking for her.
