Feeling unsure about how willing he was to find out the answer, Jed tentatively asked, “What do you mean by ‘my apartment’? We got this place together, remember?” It had been each of their first apartment shared with a partner, and while they’d been nervous to do it at first, it had ended up being one of the best decisions either of them had ever made.

Paula bowed her head slightly, the expression on her face both pleasant and professional. It was like she was at a job, Jed couldn’t help but think. “I do still possess those memories, Master. Instead, it feels like we’ve never dated, and that I’m your live-in maid.” Fearing that reality had changed to fit this, Jed looked around, but still saw the same pictures of the two of them on the wall as before.

Running a hand through his hair, Jed started talking to himself. “Okay, so, this turned out not exactly perfect. Like I’d guessed, only my coin changes reality and memories, so while she now remembers making the different choice, the whole maid thing hadn’t completely overwritten anything, because her coin can’t do that.” Now the problem became how to turn Paula from Maid-Paula back to Normal-Paula. Looking at his transformed girlfriend again, he asked her, “Is there anything else you can tell me about what the coin has done to you?”

“Of course, Master,” Paula began, and behind them Jed heard Dominique giggle over this. “In addition to being your live-in maid, I am also...” For the first time since he’d changed her, a blush spread over Paula’s cheeks, some sign that she wasn’t just this completely maid stereotype. “...your submissive, sexual plaything. You use me and you do with me whatever you want, and I am happy to assist you.”

Dominique let out a wolf whistle. “Damn, Jed. You won the freaking lottery, didn’t you? Gone with the smelly slob, in with the ultimate kinky fantasy. Plus, since she’s not your girlfriend anymore, we could start dating.” The moral parts of Jed were firmly against that. He still wanted to save Paula, and get their life back to normal. But he also couldn’t deny that what Dominique was selling was damn enticing.
