There's a catch...

"Well we offer the free version as a sort of trial program and a way to help us test some of the more... extreme options the implant offers. Think of it like a research study, or a focus group." Your heart drops. You REALLY should have read those terms. Hesitatingly, you respond. "E-extreme?"

"Exactly. That's an additional benefit to you, actually. Technically you'll have a more advanced version of the device than people who paid for the version that we've finished testing."
