There'd be no trouble between Yu's if both were the same Yu

"All right. Bear with me for a minute."

Using your ownership over Georgia's body, you temporarily claim the physical qualities of Yu's body, and copy them overtop Georgia's.

Before your eyes, Georgia-Yu transforms. She de-ages from her mid-20's to 18, her figure losing its distinctive curves in favor of something more petite. She stands shorter and shorter, till she's matched with Yu. Her hair shortens and darkens by a shade. And finally, Georgia's high cheekbones and refined facial features give way to Yu's more subtle, softer, cuter features.

Now instead of two Georgias (one still fruitlessly searching for Aiden), there are two Yu's. One is yours, the original, and the other one is wears Georgia's now oversized clothes. The only way you can tell them apart, aside from clothes, is the new Yu's lack of glasses and blue highlights.

The new Yu that was Georgia before fixes her top and rolls up the legs of her jeans. "Huh. Gho's clothes fit way better than they used to."

"So I did get taller," observes the old Yu, adjusting her glasses with a grin.

But you're not done.

"And to solve the problem of one of you feeling like a copy, how about this?" you say, proud of this particular soluton. "Yu, both of Yu, I command your minds to link up to each other, to form a single mind."

One Yu, two bodies! That solves the conundrum of both Yu's wanting to be the primary Yu. Also, this test lets you see if even the impossible is possible for youor powers - because as far as you know, people don't have minds linked to others in a gestalt.

"So like a group mind?" both Yu's say again in unison. They look at each other and laugh, bemused by the sudden turn. "Oh, that's weird. Oh, that kind of tickles. Wait wait wait. I got it."

"There. Wow that was weird," says the original Yu.

The other Yu agrees. "That was the mental equivalent of getting your tongue stuck to a streetlight."

"Exactly what I was thinking," says yours.

"No, that's actually what I was thinking," says the other. "I think you just heard my thought and thought it was yours."

This is trippy. You could really go for a bag of popcorn right now - more importantly, though, your powers again broke a barrier. Unless psychic energy is a real thing, two people sharing thoughts (even if they're identical people) should be physically impossible.

"If we have a single mind," speculates your Yu, "couldn't we both be thinking the same single thought, at the same time?"

The other Yu dissentst. "Possibly. But if that's the case, and we share all thought, talking about it with each other would be the effective equivalent to talking to yourself out loud. And I don't feel like I'm picking what you're going to say back."

"I think we only share some thoughts," your Yu theorizes. "The same way you might have something stuck in the back of your mind, subconsciously. The human brain is actually-"

"-a great multitasker," interrupts the other Yu. "But what are we? Two threads of an extremely good multitasker-"

"-or two minds working in tandem to form a group mind?"

The question stumps both Yu's.

"Ai? This isn't funny anymore," calls out Aiden-Georgia, no longer searching. She cups her hands to her mouth. "Ai, where are you? Come out already!"

You and Yu give the new Yu a look.

New Yu folds her arms. "Don't look at me like this is my fault. I didn't choose to exist, that's on Chase."

OG Yu agrees. "I'm - she's right," she tells you. "Gho will freak out if she doesn't find Ai soon."

"We - or rather, they - drove here together," explains New Yu.

God. Every time you solve a problem, two more rear their heads. You can't deny responsibility, though. This is your test. Maybe it's time to tap the undo button? Though, why do you have to abandon the experiment when you're talking to proof that your powers chew the laws of physics up for breakfast?

"All right, I'm listening," you say, cracking your knuckles. "Both Yu's, either of you have suggestions for how to deal with Georgia without turning new Yu back into someone else?"

The girls think.
