Chapter 2 by the v the v

Should Greg try to return the ring to its rightful owner?

Their loss is my gain.

Greg pocketed the ring and headed home to clean up the gash on his right arm. He got home and began to clean up his arm. “Anyone home,” he yelled. Usually his older sister Laurie was home when he got home from school, but today the house was empty. By now his head was starting to ache a bit so he took some Advil and sat down to watch some TV.

He channel surfed for about 15 minutes but nothing good was on. Then he remembered the ring in his pocket. He took out the ring and examined it more closely. It didn’t look like a wedding band, or an engagement ring. It has a simple blue gemstone in it, smooth and not faceted. It was neither feminine nor masculine looking and on the inside there was very faint script. Greg went to a drawer and got out a magnifying glass to get a closer look at the writing. It was a flowing script, but not in a language he recognized. If he wasn’t going crazy, he thought it looked like the writing on the ring from the lord of the rings, but the ring did not look like any of those rings. He studied it for a fw more minutes. It looked to small for his ring finger but he tried it on anyways.

The ring seemed to fit perfectly. He held up his hand to admire the ring and to his amazement, he could see the gash on his arm begin to heal. He felt for the bump on his forehead, and it too was smaller and less painful.

“Holy Shit”, he said aloud, “This ring is magical”. By now his arm was totally healed and his headache was gone. He took the ring off to see if the powers remained, and his arm was still healed.

“Awesome,” Greg said and put the ring back on and went back to watching TV.

He heard the sound of the front door opening. “Is that you Laurie?,” he asked. “Why are you so late”?

Laurie was 20 and in her first year at college. She was about 5’2” sandy brown hair, an ass that wouldn’t quit and healthy breasts, not oversized, but just right. She had taken a few years to “see the world” and having discovered that it wasn’t all it was cracked up to be, came home and enrolled at a local college.

Greg thought she looked hot, and liked it more when she would bring home her friends from college. He hated her boyfriend Bob. Bob seemed like the lazy type with no future. He would joke to Laurie that Bob spent too many years in 10th grade, which would make her mad. Bob always teased Greg about spending too much time with his head in his books.

“I was at the store picking up a few items for tonight,” she said. “Oh yea,” he crudely replied. “Your party tonight… Is Dumb Bob, coming over?”

“Shut up,” she cursed and continued to ignore him.

"I don't know what she sees in him," he thought to himself.

Suddenly, just like a fast motion flashback scene from a movie, he sees images racing across his vision and then they are gone.

"What the...."

"What do you want Greg", Laurie asked from the other room.

"Oh nothing," Greg replied. Just something wrong with the TV.

Greg tried to recall what he saw and he saw images of Bob and Laurie at various locations from Lauries perspective.

"Weird," he thought to himself.

Greg turned off the TV and headed up to his room to fantasize about Kelsey from his calculus class.

“Don’t download too much porn,” she yelled as he headed up the stairs.

“Shut up,” he mumbled.

Does Greg go look at Porn and fantasize about Kelsey, or plan some mischief for the party?
