The wonderful mother of Asune

You follow in the wake of Asune being pulled along by her movement more than your decision. Clare follows beside you looking interested. "Hey Asune, does your mother know about, us?" You ask to check in on what sort of meeting this is going to be.

"I've told her everything she needs to know about my relationships." Asune's answer was not as helpful as you would have liked but she puts her hands on a door and stops to look at you and Clare. "After introductions we can go and use Pet." She said it so causally and as she opened the door you were frozen in shock for a moment. "Mother, I have brought Christopher and Clare."

Asune walks in to a sun room. The wall to the garden was totally open, a little circular table with a collection of cakes sat just a little into the garden but all the chairs around it were empty. Asune walked inside and took a seat in one of the chairs. You followed after not seeing anyone of the mother persuasion. Sitting next to Asune and looking out at the garden you try to spot someone.

"Hello Asune." The sweet voice came from behind you and you turned to see not at all what your brain had assumed would be there for you. You thought Asune's mother would be some tall severe figure gazing down at everyone. "I've made some tea for you all." The figure that was now approaching with a tray full of cup however, was a short portly women with bright eyes and a happy smile. "It's nice to meet you young man." She handed you a cup with and patted your hand when you took it. "It's so nice that Asune is making friends at the Academy."

"Thank you." You look at the liquid in the cup then at Clare as she receives her cup. She gives you a look to acknowledge that she also did not see this coming. You look back at Asune's mother and the longer you do the more you can see the resemblance. She is shorter, rounder, her skin less pale and the smile lines on her face make it hard to see right away but it is there, like some aspect of an older Asune, seen through an oil painting. You wonder what her father looks like.

"Mother Christopher and I are not friends, we are in a Hanun with Anastasia, Vatarie and Clare." Asune sounds annoyed, like she had gone over this with her mother before. "And you haven't told me if the Baroness accepted the corrected terms for her tithe. I told you she was receiving a more bountiful crop this year and you should adjust as needed."

"Oh Asune, we can leave that sort of thing for later," her mother said patting Asune's knee as she sat down next to her, "tell me, how is my daughter doing at the academy?" She asked you with a happy smile.

"I told you I am beyond all of the classes currently being taught and have surpassed all but Christopher in Lady Stephanie's class." Asune said clinically as she sipped her tea.

Her mother shook her head at her daughter and turned back to you expectantly. "She's getting along with Princess Anastasia, and she and Lady Vatarie are getting closer."

"She's been 'getting along' with several people in fact." Clare said with a grin as she innocently sipped her tea.

"Two friends, well done Asune." Her mother said clapping happily. "And are you getting along with my daughter?" She turned to Clare

"You can say we have had some penetrating conversations." Clare said smirking into her tea.

"Wonderful. It's so good to hear that she is talking to so many people." Clare coughed into her tea as she tried not to laugh as the innuendo went over Asune's mother's head. "You know I've been worried she wouldn't make any friends."

"Yeah." You are really beginning to wonder if her mother has any idea just what sort of person Asune is. "It took a bit but," you look at Asune and feel your cheek curl a little, "I'm rather fond of your daughter."

"And she's rather fond of all of you." Clare was having far to much fun with this.

"Wonderful." She said then turned back to Clare. "Are you hear to discuss the dowry or will I need to write to his mother?" It was said with such earnest politeness you nearly missed it.

"How much would you accept?" Clare asks giving you a side eye.

"What?" You ask her.

"Mother I already told you Christopher's only parent is his father, Clare is not related to him." Asune said, again sounding like she had said this more than once before. "And any marriage proposal or engagement would require agreement among the members of our Hanun."

"Oh fine then but a mother can hope. How is the tea?"

"It's good." You finish off the rest of it and look at Asune, waiting for her to take the lead, you don't mind her mother, in fact you find her quite pleasant to be around. However. you don't think you are in a position to keep talking to, especially with Clare next to you. You could feel her building up to a more overt innuendo.

"Mother we are going to spend time with my new Pet. Afterwards I want the details of the new agreement you signed since you clearly didn't follow my instructions."

"Oh you and your Pets." She patted Asune's knee motherly. "I hope you like this one, having to send all those other away for you when they show up because you don't like them anymore is just rude."

"If you let them in they will stay until I acknowledge them. We've talked about this before." Asune stood up in a bit of a huff. "Christopher, Clare."

"It was nice to meet you." You said standing up.

"Please call me Kiyo." Asune's mother said standing and collecting the cups from everyone.

"A pleasure Kiyo." Clare said offering her hand. Kiyo takes it and you see them sharing their auras. It had been so long since you'd seen any do that you are surprised for a moment. The fact Kiyo didn't offer her hand to you probably means Asune had mentioned at least in part your power, since men weren't supposed to initiate an aura sharing. "You are a very lovely woman."

"And I am proud of my daughters skill in making sure good friends." Kiyo said with a happy smile. "Now run along, go and have fun." She waves the three of you off, which is a little weird since she seems to be aware that she is waving you off to a gang bang. "Ah to be young again." She mused softly to herself, so she is probably fully aware what she is waving you off to do.

The three of you leave the sun room behind and Asune leads you down a corridor. "Your mother is not what I was expecting." You say to Asune.

"She is far to lenient with our Duchy's vassals." Asune actually gives you apologetic look. "I'll make sure it holds together until I am ready to take over with you."

Clare smiles and hugs Asune from behind. "I don't think that is what he meant but you are just the cutest, getting embarrassed by your mother like that."

Asune actually blushes faintly and pulls from Clare grasp to open a door. "Pet." She calls into the room.
