The whole truth!

Deciding that honesty was the best policy, Issei trudged to the training area they had commandeered. He hoped that being a few minutes late wouldn't-

"DOOOOODGE!" he heard, and was already moving before his brain caught up. A rusted car crashed to the ground right where he had been standing.

"...are you trying to kill me!?" Issei bellowed at Koneko, who of course was the one who had yeeted the car.

"Yes!" she stated without missing a beat, earning herself a smack upside the head from Kiba, which she ignored. "It's your own fault for being late! Because of that, I had time to find the car, and lie in wait!"

"Hey, it's not my fault!" Issei protested, raising his hands to show the burns, and then pointing to the missing chunk of his hair and burnt gash on his scalp. "I was ambushed at home by one of the Fallen Angels! The same one who killed me, actually!"

Rias immediately held up a hand to stop the others from beginning, or on Koneko's case, continuing their attacks on Issei. "What happened?" she asked as Asia rushed over to heal him. "And is that why you needed me to use my magic on your house?"

"Well..." Issei trailed off, before explaining how he had been attacked by Raynare, managed to stall the fight long enough to defeat her, then met Azazel, and explained the deal.

"...so I'm safe?" Asia asked, finishing up the healing as Issei finished explaining.

"Yes. Regardless of what path you choose," Issei nodded.

"...you did good, beating a Fallen Angel in a fight, even if she was something of a flunky," Rias nodded. "You're improving. And you made the right call, choosing the peaceful option with their leader. Even if he's technically our enemy, he's known for being reasonable and upholding the treaty."

"There's something else. He knows about the Lamp. Not specifics, but his faction did detect its arrival," Issei noted, and Rias groaned.

"Great, so they're going to be watching us... At least they shouldn't act directly against us, even if they find out more," she sighed.

"Um..." Asia asked, making Issei and Rias stiffen. "What's this about a lamp? Like a genie lamp or something?" she asked. Shit, they had forgotten she didn't know all the details about the Lamp. This could get awkward...
