Ash and Dawn had been wandering through Viridian Forest for a while now, still not having encountered any new Pokémon. Both sisters were slightly disappointed by this, having hoped to find a few new additions to their teams. It didn't take much longer, however, until the two finally spotted something a little off the path.

Sitting behind a bush next to a small clearing was a woman with blonde hair, dressed in a white top with green trousers and brown boots. The camera she was holding was pointed at a tree in the center of the clearing where the twins spotted a Butterfree searching for berries. Trying not to disturb either of them, they slowly and quietly made their way over to the woman. A sudden clicking sound caused by the camera broke the silence of the scene and they could see the Butterfree flying away from the tree and back into the forest. Looking at her camera, the smile the woman made showed that the picture she had taken turned out nicely.

"Did your photo turn out well?" Ash asked her.

"Yes, I can't wait to display it in my gallery," the woman answered.

"Your gallery?" Dawn asked.

"Let me introduce myself," the woman began friendly. "My name is Viola, I am the Gym Leader of Santalune City in the Kalos Region. I am also a passionate photographer, so I set up a gallery at my gym where I display my photos."

"Nice to meet you, Viola," Dawn replied. "My name is Ashley and this is my twin sister Dawn. We're from Twinleaf Town in the Sinnoh Region."

"Nice to meet you too," Viola said with a smile.

"Did you come here all the way from Kalos to take pictures of Pokémon?" Ash asked curiously.

"That's right," she explained. "I specialize in bug-type Pokémon and Viridian Forest is widely known for being home to many different kinds of bug-types."

"Could we maybe take a look at some of the pictures you took?" Dawn asked.

"Of course," Viola agreed. "I'm always happy to share my pictures with others."

As Dawn went over to Viola to take a look at the pictures she had taken, Ash thought about using the remote again. It had been a while since she last used it and Viola seemed to be an interesting target. In the end, she had made her decision.
