The truth... kind off...

Before deciding to go back to the cabin, Chloe had looked around for Gavin, but he was nowhere to be seen. She had told herself she would look for him for an hour before going back to the cabin. If he was nearby, she would have the time to find him. If she didn't, that meant he had gotten further in the forest, and she could risk getting lost herself.

As she had not managed to track him down, she reluctantly gave up and made it back to the cabin. She needed Heather and Kurt. They were the ones who knew the forest and who would be able to find him and get him back.

As she was running down the path leading around the lake, she couldn't help but think about that conversation they had, and how she felt responsible for him getting lost. Tears formed slowly in her eyes as they welled up.

"What am I gonna tell them?" she thought. She knew Gavin had to be found, but did she dare break his trust again and tell Heather exactly what had happened?

"Zack! I must talk to Zack first. He would know what to do!"

Ahead, she could start to make out the cabin through the trees. She double timed. The deck came into view slowly.

"There's Zack!" She thought with a slight relief.

But then she saw Heather next to him. That would make matters slightly tricky. She got a bit closer and yelled:

"ZACK!!! HEATHER!!!"
