The monkey felt it had managed to grab hold of something. Its eyes were closed from falling so it knew what it was holding from touch. It was soft and flexible, at the first grab it fell down before stopping. When the monkey opened its eyes it looked up to see Tamamo staring back at it wide eyed and her mouth agape in shock.
