Good until a primate hiccup along the road

The weather along the mountains was good, especially since the day before had a large amount of rain pouring. Before Tamamo had left the inn, she had changed out of her Enma-Tei uniform kimono into her usual blue strapless kimono with her back, shoulders, thighs and a not small amount of chest exposed. "Mikon, the weather is feeling so nice." she said to herself. The mountains outside of the Enma-tei were rather peacful most of the time. While yes there were demonic beast that roamed them, as long as you could handle yourself or knew the areas they don't wander into, you should be fine. Of course that's not to say there aren't any pest that simply go where they please and do as they please.

Demonic monkeys were a problem the plagued the Enma-Tei for a long time, harassing the sparrows and guest alike with mud flinging or thieving. While they are much weaker than a servant, they're also extremely tricky as they run whenever someone attacks and are fast/agile enough to escape servants. Tamamo looked at the monkey's in front of her in the trees, they had mud in their hands that appeared to have some diamonds mixed in them. "I thought Anastasia was told to stop throwing diamonds at them!" The monkeys had a mischievous smile on their faces, geared up for a prank to get mud all over Tamamo. "Don't think that it'll be easy," She says as she pulls out her talismans for battle.

The first monkey throws a mudball at her, before it has a chance to reach though, a pillar of fire intercepts it. The flames reach into the treeline and barely scorch part of a branch. The monkeys split up to get her from two sides. however, as they are moving, both monkeys see a talisman right below them that creates a pillar of ice which they both slam into. Tamamo has been fighting these monkey nearly her entire trip at the Enma-Tei, by this point she's seen all of their tricks and knows that the last monkey is going to try and get her from above. As the monkey climbed the branches towards her from above, Tamamo has prepared a wind Talisman to blow it away. As it was swinging however, the branch that Tamamo burned broke while the monkey was holding it. As the monkey fell through the air it panicked and tried to grab whatever it could grab.
