The three Bravos make it to the jungle village unharmed

It was a long and stressful walk through the jungle, the trees around them swayed with the breeze, every movement feeling like a threat. After their short break at the temple, all three of them felt on edge, keeping their weapons at the ready. Emmaline's released a constant, low level flow of flame so that she might incinerate enemies at the first sign of trouble. More than once, she nearly destroyed a passing bird for its untimely chirping.

Eventually, however, after trudging along the road for several strained hours, the Bravos came to the gates of the village. Largely due to its precarious position in the middle of an extremely dangerous swamp, the village itself looked more like a fortress than a normal town, with high stone walls marked with watchtowers and a large portcullis as the only visible way in or out. Seeing that they were human, the guards ushered them inside, bringing the three Bravos to an inn where they could spend the night.

They would share a room behind the sturdy walls. Liv was still captured by the lizardfolk, and none of them knew what had happened to Becky, but they were far to exhausted to set out now. They would figure out their plan in the morning. For now, the three of them let sleep take them, finally resting in safety.
