The test was the least of his worries.

John arrived at the exam room just in time, with most students already seated in ordered sections depending upon the subject on which they were being examined.

Anna was in another section, ready for her accounting test, an idea of her dad too, like the business class was one of John's. He had pointed out that knowing accounting would be useful to her if she became a professional chef one day and had to run a restaurant and could be a good job if she didn't end up following her mother's path. John had watched a few clips of Anna's father boxing, and he had a lot of trouble imagining him sitting at a desk checking accounts.

John sat at his table and received a subject and a blank copy. He had trouble taking any kind of test seriously nowadays; not only did he remember everything he read or heard, but he could even check anything online to ace any test he would have to take. So while filling out answers, he opened the chat function of his interface and called his girlfriend.

John: hi!
Anna: Are you OK?
John: yes, why?
Anna: the eye, the purple light?
John: someone was peeping ; ) what did you have to do with June btw?
Anna: we had the very important task of leaving you alone with your cutesy little mad scientist so she could get all hot and bothered while doing nerdy stuff with you. And then watch you give her the ride of her life. Seriously, what was this thing with the eye? It was different from the last time and you went a bit crazy for a moment.
John: it was a different eye. A fertility one... Apparently it boosts fertility in both the person opening it and the one touched by it and makes them both super horny to ensure fertilization.
Anna: what? Did you...?
John: thankfully no. The ring was on the "no baby" setting and it's stronger than that effect. So even if she felt it there was no way for her to get pregnant from me. I took the horny ray full **** though. We almost missed the time to get back to school and only didn’t because she regained control and managed to close her eye.
Anna: I like her too, but it's a bit worrying, do you even know how many other of these things she has and what they do? If we keep pushing her and opening them by accident this could be dangerous.
John: I'll have a talk with her about it. So, what were you and June wearing and doing while you were spying on us?
Anna: you'd like to know, don't you?
John: come on!
Anna: not much and a lot of things : )
John: tease!
Anna: we'll show you at lunch.

After a while, the conversation began to repeat itself, and Anna wasn't as good as John at multitasking like this, so John closed the window to let her finish her test. He received another series of text messages, from Moira this time. Her father had discovered about his plans for the night (or been told by Moira herself?) and wanted to see him. She told him not to worry too much about it and that Lorelei had been supporting his plan, but he was not really in a hurry to explain himself about this in front of Lord Brighton.

After the test, they both returned to the kingdom for lunch, joined by June. John was distracted while eating, both by the view (his teacher and girlfriend sitting naked at the table never stopped amazing him, and he would have had trouble remembering what he ate at this lunch) and the various issues he had to deal with. Trapping the mysterious creature in the Maze had only been a way to borrow some time. John had no doubt that, unless he went there to hunt it, the creature would eventually get loose and could endanger his subjects.

After the meal, John used some of the lizard hides and slime material to create a hood, similar to the one that he had left on Vanessa in Chicago; the invitation for the club required that the girl he'd bring be blindfolded, and with the evidence of occult links behind the club, it would be better for everyone to ignore the identity of his +1, as he had no idea how widely known Lorelei's identity was after all. Her reaction to this thing had been strange; he would have expected her to refuse, be scandalized and only accept in a resigned way once proven that it was the most logical way. The fact that she admitted having seen herself going in a vision a few days before was troubling. John had not taken the time yet to reconcile how seers seeing the future fitted in a world were until now he assumed to be in charge of his decisions and possessed free will. Was she coming with him just because she saw it happen? She had described his own visions as possible futures, which meant that decisions he made could affect the future and make these vision become reality or allow him to avoid them. He was pretty sure that there was another reason for her to go along with his plan that she had not revealed to him; he would probably be able to learn more once back at the manor before going to the club.

True to her promise, Anna and June reenacted what had happened when they were watching him and Tricia. It had the expected effect on him, and not long after he stood at attention, he was dragged to the bedroom by both of them. He was almost thrown on the bed, quickly followed by two naked, jumping girls who began playfully wrestling with him and each other for access to his dick. Their fun in bed wasn't the wildest he’d ever had, but it had to merit to get his mind off everything else. John enjoyed the cuddling afterwards a lot, just laying there, his eyes closed, with the warm bodies of two wonderful girls snuggled against him, resting on the most comfortable, form fitting bed imaginable.

Alas, the time to go back to school arrived way too soon to interrupt this blissful moment. John gently nudged his two bedmates who just like him would have gladly stayed like this a couple of hours. Everyone got dressed and split up as soon as they left the kingdom to get to their respective classrooms.

John made his way to the workshop; it was now one of the classes he enjoyed the most. Under pretense of wanting to create a cosplay armor for his girlfriend, he asked some advice on how to shape and align the strips of metal for the armor he had in mind for Cali. He also trained chiseling letters onto metal, which would help him a lot for rune working. Miss Brooke was happy to see him work on this with such enthusiasm and hung near him for almost the entire period, only going to check on the other students from time to time. John used this to his advantage, milking her for information about tools, items, materials, how to forge hard metals, what materials are used in the best anvils, the brands of the best suppliers for the various tools used, everything he would need to outfit his castle forge.

Time flew by, and suddenly, John realized that the two hours of the class were already over. He put the strips of engraved metal in his bag (to use as model for the costume of course) and left the classroom. With John summoned to the manor and no way point at her house, Anna would need to wait to get home before being able to visit the kingdom again.

Moira was waiting for John on the parking lot. She handed him a helmet and invited him to get behind her on the throbbing motorcycle. Her warm body against his own and fearing for his life in a high speed race in the streets at least was keeping his mind off the dreaded meeting with her father where he would have to explain his genius plan to take one of his experts and parade her naked in a sex club for the night.
