The teacher sees

"Uh, Jenny?" Mr Smith said from the front of the class. "What were you waving around just now?"

"W-what?" Jenny asked, a little bit flustered.

"I just saw you waving something white around. What are you doing back there?"

Anna saw Jenny's gaze flicker to her just for a second. The bully gave a little grin.

"Just found these, sir." she said, standing up. "They were just on the floor."

The class, who had now turned around to see what was happening, let out a snicker of laughter as Jenny held aloft a pair of white cotton panties for the class to see. Anna felt like her face was on fire.

"Are they yours, Jenny?" Mr Smith demanded.

"No sir. Really sir! I just found them sir. If you want me to I could lift up my skirt..."

"No! No." Mr Smith said, his own face turning red. "That will not be necessary. Please bring them up to the front of the class."

As Jenny carried Anna's panties to the front of the class, the class erupted into laughter, and some conjecture about who's they were. When one of the girls denied that they were hers, one of the boys suggested she prove it which brought another round of laughter.

Anna sat at the back of the class, unnoticed and embarrassed.

"Right then." Mr Smith said, picking the offending garment up at the end of a wooden ruler. "I don't know what these are doing here, but if the owner would like them back then she had better speak up now."

"Could be a he, sir!" Jenny called out as she retook her seat. This brought with it more laughter.

"Seriously, now." Mr Smith said once the class had settled down. "This is very serious. Removing your clothing in class is a very serious misdemeanour. If the owner does not admit to this sordid little joke..."

He moved towards the classroom window, and opened it as wide as it would go. He held the ruler - and the panties - just hovering over the windowsill.

"...then that person will lose these panties out the window. Well class? I'm waiting."
