What's next?
The sub-sub-basement
He stepped out of the elevator on the only floor lower than his. Rows of incandescent lights illuminated dingy shelves and rows of filing cabinets. He had no idea where to start. This sub basement was huge.
“A catalogue. That’s what I need.”
He walked over to a small desk next to the elevator.
“Who the hell organized this hellhole?”
The catalogue was an absolute mess it was incomplete and unintelligible. He sighed resigned and picked a direction, making his way under the flickering, humming, whining fluorescent lights. File cabinets and shelves closed in on every side. He wandered around looking for a section of archive that might actually contain what he was looking for. When he stopped in front of a dusty shelf. Clearly not everything down here was paperwork. Something on the small low shelf caught his eye.
