This is Priest Bernard shouting.

You are lying on a wooden floor. Your right side hurts. Your left shoulder also hurts. This strong creature hit you with his hand in the left shoulder area and this creature threw you away as if you were a small straw doll. You realize that you are now lying on the floor inside one of the inn rooms. Next to you, fragments of a wooden door that closed the entrance to the building are lying on the floor. You see all sorts of rubbish, furniture, wooden boxes, tables, benches and cabinets. All this played the role of barricades that blocked the passage into the building, propping up the door. These things are now lying on the floor near the wall. After all, the militiamen removed the barricades from the door so that you and a group of peasants could go inside the inn building.

There is one body lying on the floor next to you. This is one of these militiamens. This body has no... head!

A bloody neck with pieces of torn flesh and gushing blood looks disgusting.

You touch your left shoulder, which continues to hurt. Your fingers feel the damage to your scale-mail coat. In one of the places you even feel that your scale-mail coat is pierced... right through. A small trickle of blood flows from your wound. You feel pain, but it's not all bad: this wound is shallow and superficial. Fortunately, thanks to your armor, this blow was not fatal for you. Otherwise you would probably be dead already.

You look up.

What you see makes you strain to get back on your feet.

A large black-haired wolf-like monster holds Priest Bernard by the throat, lifting the human's body above the floor. At the feet of this monster lies the corpse of one of the militiamens (large bleeding wounds are visible on the throat of this human - probably these are claw marks).

Werewolf.

This is the same black-furred werewolf you fought in Old Ditmar's Gorge. It seems to you that now this monster looks even more enraged: his eyes exude wild hatred. He looks into the face of Priest Bernard, who is suffocating due to strangulation.

The priest's staff... The staff with which Bernard maintained concentration on the spell that helped you get to the inn. This staff no longer exists. You see fragments of the staff lying on the floor at the feet of the werewolf. Obviously the staff was broken by the monster.

The monster's second hand with long dagger-shaped claws approaches the priest's chest.

The monster seems to be enjoying the torment of its victim...

You are trying to get to your feet and reach for your combat bow.

You have silver plated steel arrows.

You just need to have time...

You get to your feet...

You stagger slightly from the pain.

Your hands quickly grab a combat bow and an arrow with a silver-plated steel tip.

You see the werewolf making a quick movement...

Bernard's heart-rending cry of excruciating pain.

The black-haired werewolf's sharp, dagger-shaped claws pierce Bernard's chest. The claws easily tear human flesh. The monster grins sadistically, revealing a mouth with many sharp fangs. The monster's hand continues to move. It tears at the human's flesh, tearing off pieces of bloody flesh.

You see how the werewolf squeezes in his hand... priest's heart.

The monster then begins to devour this bloody piece of human flesh, throwing Bernard's lifeless body aside like some kind of garbage. The priest's corpse hits the wooden wall and falls to the floor.

The moment the wolf-like monster's fangs plunge into the human heart, you take aim and shoot with your bow.

The arrow flies quickly and pierces the werewolf's right side.

The monster lets out a frantic howl of pain and rage.

The arrowhead got stuck in the monster's body, causing him excruciating pain.

But...

One arrow is clearly not enough to destroy this vile, large, strong, unholy creature.

Werewolf turns towards you.

Now his attention is clearly focused on you.

The frantic gaze of the werewolf's black eyes meets yours.

Blood and saliva drip from sharp fangs.

You see the vile monster flex the muscles of its large body, preparing for a swift attack.

Now he will try to tear your body into bloody pieces of flesh.
