The next Day

When Nicole woke up she remembered what had transpired the previous day.

"Dammit, I should call in sick but that Bastard propably tought about that. I can't risk it." Nicole whispered to herself while changing into her Office attire, a Black skirt and a White blouse.

"Nicole? Are you up already?" John asked half asleep.

"Yes, Honey. One of us has to earn us some Money." Nicole answered a little meaner than she intended. "Sorry John. I didn't mean it like that. I'm just in a bad mood because i got a lot of work today. Again I'm Sorry."

"It's alright Babe. I know i have to find a Job soon. The Mortgage doesn't pay itself." John sighed "But if you are truly sorry you can make it up to me tonight." He kissed her on the cheek.

"Ooh I will Baby. Love you, see you later." Nicole kissed him goodbye and walked out the door.

Half an hour later she arrived at work. She walked through the office door just to be greeted by her Boss Mr. Jefferson talking to her Colleague, Bill Meyer.

"That would be all Bill, Thank you. Good morning Mrs. Smith, how are we feeling Today?" He smirked

"I'm good"

"Well that's good to know. I will let you get to work now."

As the man left she breathed a sigh of relief.

She sat down at her desk and began working, nothing out of the Ordinary.
