What's next?

The logical answer on Josh's part

Josh, not believing any of Rachel's BS, spent the next hour very carefully moving himself closer to a specific part of the room. Right as the hour is up, he's in perfect position. Rachel walks over and picks up the paper, before turning away to look at it.

"Blank? Really? You know wha-" Suddenly, Rachel's words are interrupted by several loud bangs, as she collapses to the floor, several bullet holes in her chest. Josh, having had a woman enter his home under false pretenses, and then being sprayed in the eyes by mace, was found to be justified under the law to have shot and killed the home invader, Rachel. Even though she was the Toxic Masculinity Reform Czar, she was still bound by certain aspects of the law, including not engaging in intentionally misleading behaviours (her reciprocation of his offer negated the claim he was being toxically masculine, as the initial message is appropriate in context of a dating app, and the further messages only came because she responded in kind to him), needing a warrant to enter homes on official business, and needing to properly document things.

As it was proven by police investigation that Josh had, in fact, been attacked with Mace (and there was no evidence he did anything to reasonably provoke the Mace, as she didn't have a bodycam to properly document things), did in fact have a gun that the home invader could have stolen while he was incapacitated, and he was in his own home he owned, he was completely exonerated in court, as the shooting is ruled Justified on both general self defense grounds and specifically on Castle Doctrine/Stand your Ground law grounds.

Josh returns to his normal life, and after a few more one night stands which were mutual, he finally found The One on that dating app, they got married, had three children, and died mere days apart in their nineties, still happily married.

And where's the Rulebook in all this? Well, as soon as Rachel died, it disappeared from where she left it in her house, off to find a new user to entertain it.
