The idea

"Ladies. Dr. Holmes." Dean Hargreaves greeted his staff. "Let's get down to business. As you are no doubt aware, the percentage of male students has been declining rapidly these past few years. I crunched the numbers, and this school year, we went down from 45% male students to 21%. We need an idea to get more male students to enroll in our university. Any suggestions?"

"Well," Carla began as she pushed her glasses up her face, "I've been thinking about it, and what if we had a class where students can build their own computers from the ground up?"

"That's an idea... I guess." Hargreaves commented.

"I've been thinking of bringing in live models for my biology lectures." Rosa suggested. "My brother and sister-in-law run a life drawing studio downtown. If I pull some strings, I might be able to get a couple of models for human anatomy studies."

"Not a bad idea, but not quite what I'm looking for."

"I could offer half an hour of my class to free reading." Cindy offered, "They could bring in any reading material they wanted. Or I could offer more adult subject matters in my class; there are countless romance novels that are steamy enough to keep their attention. Just not that Fifty Shades crap! I refuse to have that offense against literature in my classroom."

"Again, not bad, but not what I'm looking for." Hargreaves replied before turning to Wanda. "Professor Hieise?"

"Yeah, I got nothing." Wanda admitted sheepishly, shrugging her shoulders. "Even I have a hard time coming up with an idea on how to make math fun for anyone, let alone college guys."

"If I may?" Dr. Holmes said as he gave Hargreaves a knowing look before turning to the women. "I think I have an idea to attract more male students. A little experiment that I want to try, really. One that involves you four, lovely ladies."

"And that is?" Carla asked as Cindy and Wanda raised their eyebrows, Rosa tilting her head in confusion.
