The hero Roland

"THIS IS NOT THE END!!!" The Demon Lord's roared out. His dozen eyes honing in on Roland, his thrashing tentacles desperately trying to finish off the one responsible for his upcoming demise.

"JUST DIE ALREADY!" Roland screamed back, desperately trying to keep the dying monster's attention on him. Though with agility and grace, Roland was barely able to avoid or deflect most of the Demon Lord's attacks.

'Just a couple more seconds' Roland thought desperately, counting down the seconds until the Demon Lord's soul would be burnt away. One of the Demon Lord's tentacle made to swip at Roland, naturally Roland dodge out of the way. Only to look behind him as he ducked out of the way, to see the tentacle was not meant for him, but rather the immobile elven princess behind him. Unable to move as kept the Demon Lord immobile as well.

'Shit!' Roland thought. As he watched in horror as the tentacles smashed into the elf princess, throwing her off her feet before it soon rebounded back to him.

"ALLISA!" Roland screamed, worried for his companion.

"Rolland!" Screamed the injured cat girl Amaya, drawing Rolland's attention.

"Take this!" She threw a knife at the injured Hero, who caught the knife and instinctually sliced through one the Demon Lord's tentacles that had attempted to smash into him.

"Argh!" Roland screamed in pain as he was covered immediately covered from head to toe in a vile black fluid, that stung and burnt away at Roland's skin. His eyes and face burning as if it he was covered in acid.

The Demon Lord's focus was now entirely on Roland, who used this moment to launch a final last attack at the distracted hero. His many tentacles flinging themselves like spears at the **** Roland.

"WATCH OUT" Jesabera shouted, moving into the way of the oncoming attack and deflecting as many of the Demon Lord's tentacles with her shield as she could.

"Argh!" Unfortunately the onslaught of attacks shattered through the dwarf woman's shield, flinging her away. Roland attempted to move out of the way but was unable to see or focus on the oncoming attacks.

"Sphhhlt!"

"ROLAND!" All the other members of the heroes party cried out as they watch Roland was impaled by several of the Demon Lord's tentacles.

Despite the intense pain that radiated out from where Roland has been impaled. He could feel something being pumped into his body from the tentacles, a sense of revolution and pleasure filled his mind as the Demon Lord's essense was injected into every inch of his body. Roland attempt to break free, but could not with the Demon Lord's tentacles securely impaled into his body. Roland felt something stirring, shifting, changing in his very soul. Though fortunately Roland didn't have to suffer for long.

"Wind Burst!" Allisa chanted, sending blades of wind at the tentacles impaling Roland. Slicing them apart, but in the process coaking Roland in the Demon lord's dark vicous fluids, however freeing Roland mattered little, as the Demon Lord soon burst into a glorious inferno. Allisa, Sirene, Amaya and Jesabera rushed to Roland's side, to defend their wounded friend.

"HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!" But instead of attack, the Demon Lord burst into manical laughter. Screeching as he slowly turned to dust "I CURSE YOU HERO! CURSE YOU!" His dozen eyes focusing on the incapacitated and **** Roland, before laughing as he left this world.
