Chapter 155 by Dandyman Dandyman

What's next?

The goblin cave

Elle and I approached the situation stealthily, keeping low and our footsteps and breathing under control. The goblin guards hadn’t spotted us, as we went around out of their field of view.

Our weapons were ready, and Elle switched to her bow to make some ranged attacks. We were at a blind spot for them, as Elle nocked an arrow into the string of her bow.

She aimed for the easiest target to make the kill, pulling back in the bowstring, then let the arrow loose. The arrow flew through the air, making a high pitched hissing sound, and then a thud as it buried into the skull of a goblin. The little beast fell to the floor dead, and within the confusion of what happened, Elle was able to loose another arrow into another goblin. This time, it lodged into the throat, tearing into flesh, ripping it apart. The goblin choked on it’s own blood, as it clawed at it’s neck, then falling to it’s knees as it began to bleed out.

The other guards were now in full alert, knowing they were under attack. I leapt into battle, closing the distance between me and a goblin. It didn’t have enough time to react to a strong wolvir charging at it. I lifted my great-axe, filled with adrenaline, and swung down, and embedded the axe head into the top of the goblin’s skull, killing it instantly.

I prised the axe out of the goblin, and saw another running at me, its spear pointing at my abdomen. I knocked the spear out of the way easily, and struck my axe into the ribs of my foe. It screeched at the sudden and immense pain from my attack, it’s blood spraying onto the ground. The **** of my blow caused the goblin to be flung several feet away from me, and its body crashed into a worthless heap in the dirt. It didn’t take long for the life to evacuate from the goblin, swiftly making it into a fresh corpse.

Elle had joined me, her sword now brandished ready to taste goblin blood. Despite being pregnant, she still moved with a fluid speed, easily outmanoeuvring an attacking goblin. She pirouetted around, and pierced the point of her blade into its throat.

Pulling it out, she turned to face another goblin, and dodged its stabbing action at her. She slashed her sword across its chest, and it fell back, squealing in pain. It lost its footing as it stepped back away from Elle, and tumbled to the ground. She came up to it, as it clutched the deep and long wound on its chest, the blood seeping out at a rapid flow. She raised her sword up, and pointed the tip to the ground, then thrusted downwards, stabbing the goblin through the eye and killing it.

Due to the commotion of fighting, the **** screams of the goblins, a few more had exited the mouth of the cave. I was prepared for this, and three goblins came at me all at once. I tensed my muscles, and pulled back to prime for an attack. At the opportune moment, with all my might, I cleaved all three at once, cutting them apart. Two of the goblins were separated in half, and the third had it’s head lopped off. Blood and guts had strewn across the dirt, painting it red.

We waited to see if any other goblins spilled out of the cave, but we heard no movement, and were able to take a moment of reprieve.

“Damn!” Said Elle. “I didn’t think I’d still be able to do that so easily.”

“Looks like the plush life of a queen hasn’t slowed you down.” I complimented.

“I’d still rather spend my days at Luna Peak getting fucked by yiu in our bed.” She flirted, her eyes blazing with desire.

It was either the heat of the moment, the blood lust, her suggestive looks, or all of the above, but I felt an erection form in my pants. I couldn’t wait to finish this quest, and have her bent over as I ploughed her asshole.

“Let’s recap.” I started. “This supposed king of goblins is holed up in this cave. He’s leading a small horde of other goblins, numbers are unknown, but estimated being around fifty. He’s attacked caravans travelling with goods and treasure, and even made off with a villagers daughter. They should all be here. So we’ll take it easy, killing them as we go, and slay this goblin king.”

“This false king, it’s a joke.” Insulted Elle. “Who would take a goblin as a king seriously. It’s good yiu have taken this bounty, and kill this goblin king. You’ll be able to show your dominance over these lesser creatures.”

“I’m glad I convinced you to come along.” I gave a low growl.

Elle rubbed at her swollen belly, feeling for the pup growing inside her womb.

“I think our pup wants more bloodshed, I can fell him moving, craving more **** of these goblin bastards.” She told me.

I went up to her, and placed my hand at her stomach, feeling the vibrations of movement within her. I smiled a wicked grin, knowing that my pup would become a warrior when he was born and fully grown.

“Let’s not disappoint him.” I said. I then gestured her towards the cave. “Shall we?”

“Yes. I am ready, my king.” Elle passed me and brushed her fingers at my muscles, cooing at the touch of them.

I decided to take point, like a true wolvir warrior, and protecting my bitch and unborn pup.

We went inside, and funnily enough, it was brighter than I expected it to be. Torches were lit and hanging off poorly made wooden sconces, illuminating the cave walls.

It was easy enough to see, and with my heightened senses, we shouldn’t have any issue in an ambush. We continued to sneak inward, being aware of the noise we might make. The best way would to get the drop on them, to easily dispatch of any goblins we came across.

As we proceeded, we came into a larger cavern, and in the centre was a small group of goblins huddled around a campfire, roasting what looked like rats on a spit.

I approached quietly, whilst Elle mocked an arrow in her bow. As I got near enough, she made a shot that killed one of them, and I engaged in melee combat with the rest. It was simple and not difficult to overwhelm them with my superior strength and speed. I made quick work with them, making corpses that I added to the fire. The smell of goblin flesh filled my nostrils, the putrid stink was off putting, so we carried on.

We must have spent little over ten minutes, venturing deeper, and disposing of any goblins that crossed our path. We were on high guard now, as the sounds of dead goblins must have reached through the echoing cave walls.

Thankfully, my great sense of smell made me aware of any sneaking goblins that came towards us. And we were never taken by surprise, and instead had the upper hand when it came to fighting them.

We had racked up quite the kill count, with Elle having an impressive fifteen kills under her belt. I had accumulated over twenty five at this point.

Next we came across the largest of the caverns, that seemed to act as a barracks for the goblins. Weapons made of iron were hanging on racks, spears against walls, and armour littered the floor or on tables. At this point, they were waiting for us. There were over ten of them grouped together, and had actually organised a battle formation. They cackled something in their language, an insult or warning, I wasn’t sure, and I didn’t care.

These goblins wielded better weapons, and shields with armour to protect them. But all in all, it looked rusted and damaged, nothing a good swing of my great-axe wouldn’t be able to slice through.

Elle had a trick up her sleeve, as she produced a flask with flammable oil inside, a clean rag had been shoved into the neck of the flask. She lot the rag from a nearby torch, and threw the flask in the middle of the goblins. The flask made contact with one of the shields, and the sound of shattering glass echoed out. Fire spewed out as if by magic, but the reality was the flames rag had caused the oil to react violently, spitting large flames outward. This ensued some welcome chaos, as some of the goblins became caught by fire, and made them drop their concentration and flee from their ranks.

I closed the distance on the group, and got to work on them. I slashed, and cleaved, and swung my great-axe at the small green creatures, their squeals of pain and fear spurring me on.

Elle was able to pick off the stranglers with her bow, or her sword if they got too close. After a few minutes of fighting, all the goblins in the cavern lay dead at our feet.

There was only one more passageway within here, and with the number we had killed, there couldn’t be much more, if any. Elle and I came close to the next passage, and I used my sense of smell again. With what I could tell, there may have been only one more goblin up ahead, but there was also something else I could smell…a human.
