"Uh, can someone tell me what this initiation means?" Mark asked. "And why does it involve streaking through snow?"

"Technically, we don't need the snow," Angela said.

"Okay, but why the streaking?" Mark asked again.

Mallory signaled for the girls to stop by a tree. The group allowed Mark to stop running and stand beside them. Mallory rubbed her hands together and began to explain.

"Okay..." Mark said slowly. If this was test one, he couldn't imagine what the others were.

"Next, you go to the pool on campus and swim a couple laps," Tiffany added.

"Third, go to the library and find a specific book we want you to look at," Bella said. "The history nerds who research our campus can find it in a heartbeat."

That one gave Mark pause, but Delilah patted him on the back. "Don't worry; it'll be easy. We'll be there to give you a hand."
