Today is now Wednesday and day three of when I first got my powers, and things are going a lot slower than I expected. I thought I might already be in a world of pleasure right about now but it seems that things take time even when you have all the power in the world.
It was currently lunch break at school and John was currently on his way to meet up with his friends, until he saw Jess, Luce and Mia surrounded by a group of girls. It was Veronica and her group of bitches, a typical bunch of girls who think they're the greatest things to grace this school and look down on everyone else.
Getting closer John paused just within earshot, allowing me to hear what they were saying, it seemed they were bullying my three friends about their looks, calling them ugly and finding any flaws they could in their appearance. Jess and Mia kinda just took it, but Luce tried to defend themselves, but kinda failed and just seemed to cause them to laugh at her attempts.
I couldn't stay there watching, wanting to do something but unable to act other than use my powers, an idea popped into my head and I immediately used both my wish and influence to change the situation.
"I wish the girls in my friend group were more attractive."
First using my wish, it seemed to struggle before taking effect, the distortion settling as I watched as the three girls slowly began to change.
It was subtle at first but their skin became clearer, their faces more symmetrical and neat, eyes becoming bigger, hair becoming glossier, their bodies becoming fitter overall. They look quite simply like more attractive versions of themselves, they weren't super hot just yet but they definitely couldn't be called ugly anymore.
Despite their change in appearance, the bullies still continued to insult their looks, nothing had change there, proving that it wasn't truly about that, there were some other reason, but I didn't care what it was, I just wanted it to stop.
"You should have more empathy to what you say."
Targeting Veronica as she was the leader of the group, I commanded my influence over her. Some people may say that the wish was too lenient and they would want **** but I decided on something that should hopefully have a stronger effect, forcing them to reflect on their actions, and truly feel the pain they've cause. One day if they manage to turn into a good person they would look back on their bullying and cringe at themselves, what's better than that.
Veronica suddenly paused like she was rethinking herself before silently storming off without a word, allowing John to walk up to his three friends and check up on them. They were fine and went on to have lunch, everyone going back to normal, meanwhile I was checking out my handiwork at the new and improved girls.
