The first condition…

“What sort of conditions?” Ahsoka sighed.

“Not many, and they’ll keep you safe.”

A little while after their talk Ahsoka had landed her ship at the Mandalorian base, well hidden in one of the planets mountainous regions. As discussed the former Padawan handed over her lightsabers, her belt and her gauntlets to Bo-Katan outside the base, believing that removing the most warlike of her clothing would ease the suspicions of the former sworn enemies of the Jedi. But after handing them over Bo-Katan was quick to add:

“And the boots.”

“Really?” Ashoka sighed.

“We both know you can do as much damage with your kicks as your punches. You’re not afraid of getting your feet dirty are you?”

Ahsoka bent down to pull off her footwear. She tried to appreciate the cool air on her feet as they came free and not dwell on what a strange new sensation it was to expose this part of her body.

The easiest of the conditions had been achieved.

Once finally inside the hideaway Ahsoka took in the stone corridors of the mountain base, quiet and empty, scant compared to other palaces she had visited on Mandalore in the past. This facility belonged to Bo-Katan and her clan but had not seen much use until the struggle for Mandalore had began and the enemies of the empire needed a less auspicious places to house themselves. It was certainly much colder than other places on Mandalore Ahsoka had visited as her bare feet were appreciating during the walk inside.

The slightly haunted emptiness made it startling when another blue armour-clad Mandalorian shouted out at the approaching pair:

“That wasn’t the agreement Bo!”

The red haired woman rolled her eyes and gave an encouraging look at Tano who just looked confused at this new development.

“She willingly gave up her weapons and armour, this should be a sign she’s an ally.” Bo-Katan argued.

“A Jedi will never be an ally to a Mandalorian, you know that nobody here will feel safe with her around unless our conditions are met.” He shouted back.

Ahsoka’s curiosity was peaked:

“She didn’t mention any other conditions, did you?”

“The Jedi are known as tricksters in our culture.” Bo begrudgingly began. “The others here had only one suggestion on how they’d feel safe around someone who could be hiding any type of mystical trick.”

“I have nothing to hide, what do they want?” Ahsoka asked.

“They felt the only way they’d be sure you weren’t hiding anything, is if you weren’t wearing anything.”

Ahsoka’s brain went blank processing what was said, only able to assemble one response:

“What!?”

“Pretty obvious it you ask me. Strip.” The male Mandalorian said ominously.

“Or we’ll strip you.” Said another entering the corridor to back up his friend.

Bo-Katan maintained a neutral face at the development, now Ahsoka was inside, it was time for the next conditions.
