The dust clears....

With the vibrating of the eggs ended, and the outcome of the battle decided, all parties involved take the necessary time to recuperate. Hey, now that you think about it, why did Professor Phoebe need time too? Anyway, you and Delilah both very much appreciate being given the time to take a breather.

The eggs are returned to Professor Phoebe, praise is handed out equally by your Combat Class teacher, and by the end you're actually feeling pretty good about yourself. Finally, Professor Phoebe gives the two of you a speech on the importance of teamwork and friendship. It's rousing!

"...and I hope that, with this experience, you two have learned to respect each other's abilities and make up!" Professor Phoebe finishes proudly, looking eagerly between you two. Maybe she's right. Delilah may have been mean to you, but that's only because she was scared that she might lose her new friend to you. Nobody's all bad, and if she's at this school then you already have something rare in common. So maybe you two can be frien-

Delilah snorts. "Yeah right, Professor. All this taught me is that I love to get off, and that Debbie's even worse than I thought she was." With that, she picks up her now-packed schoolbag, and turns to walk out of the classroom and into the bustling lunchtime hallways. It's a g-good thing these rooms are soundproofed, for learning purposes. And that all the windows inside the classrooms are glazed.

"Well." Professor Phoebe sounds a bit dejected, as the door once again slides closed. "That didn't work. Ah well! No matter! You're still a very, very cute girl Debbie. Maybe moreso because of this. So I very much look forward to teaching you this year."

...And also because you have good potential as a Warrior. She forgot to say that you have good potential as a Warrior.

"Now then, before your lunch break runs out completely, why don't you go buy yourself a sandwich, and come back here so we can look through the equipment catalogue together?"

That sounds good to you! Food, Warrior stuff, a one-on-one with a teacher for extra study, and you don't have to worry about where and with who you'll eat lunch with!

You return a few minutes later, having sheepishly stood in a line for the majority of those minutes. As you walked through the hallways and back to the classroom, you had your shoulders hunched inwards and you held your delicious sandwich close to your chest. Who knows what kind of people here might want to take it?

You spend the rest of lunch with Professor Phoebe and the catalogue, chowing down on your sandwich. Actually, you really like her! She's a bit weird sometimes, but she kind of has to be, to be at a school like this at the age she is. She's nice, she doesn't impose what she wants on you -- er, anymore -- and she gives some really good suggestions! When it's time to select your armour and weapons, you'll at least go in with some amount of prior knowledge.

Um.... hopefully somebody'll clean up this classroom sometime soon.
