The dragons begin to gather.
Meanwhile, on the floating meteoroid Ysmault…
Rage, blind rage filled the pool of blood as the red lanterns screamed and wailed in anger, the hot glow of red light had broken through the core and circled over the red lantern corps like a shark before flying off out of sight. During its flight, the column of light sprouted wings and claws, becoming more and more like a winged serpent flying through space. Breathing hard and grimacing in anger, Guy Gardner glared up at the retreating core energy and barked at the others to chase after it. His rage dying down slightly now that the red glow was gone. Looking around, the rest of the red lanterns had begun to calm down, their anger now simmering instead of being a blaze.
“We got to follow that… THING!”
“Why should we care? Let rage boil wherever it can.” Scoffed Dex-starr, the blue cat licking his paw in arrogance now that he was not frothing at the mouth in rage.
“Yes.” Replied Bleez, the princess staring out into space. “Let it shine on those who desire the power of vengeance!”
“Wherever that core goes its going to cause a riot, or worse! Are you gonna sing the same tune when that thing kills innocents? Like you Bleez?”
Glaring back at Guy, the red lantern woman growled before she relented, slowing nodding. Sluggishly at first, the temple citadel of Ysmault changed course and began to travel in direction of the red light. Following it towards Earth.

On planet Qward…
Panic, pure unadulterated panic filled the corps of the yellow lanterns when their core of fear exploded and flooded their senses with terror. Former warlord and tyrants, well versed in the use of fear, cowered in the presence of the yellow serpent that coiled and slithered overhead in the air. Cruel laughter filling the air while it enjoyed their fear and panic, the lot desperately cowering or trying to find places to hide.
Sinestro; the leader of the Yellow Lantern corps stared up, never more terrified than he had ever been in his life as the yellow serpent stopped its circling and brought its attention to the man looking up at it. Smiling down at the tiny man, the yellow dragon unfurled its wings and took to the sky, flying out into deep space where its glow could still be seen.
Collapsing to his knees, Sinestro gasped and panted even after the fear effects had quickly worn off, visibly shaken by what he and the others had seen.
“Wha… What was…” Quivered one of the yellow lanterns, visibly shaken.
“After it!” Flying off into space, the yellow lanterns chased after the yellow dragon, heading towards Earth.

On planet Odym…
When their core began to crack and break, the blue lanterns looked upon the sight with curiosity and anticipation, like watching a bird hatching from an egg. When the core had burst open and its core energy released, an intense sense of joy filled their hearts to the point that some began to laugh while others breathed it all in. Looking up at the blue serpent that circled the waterfall and meadow of the Blue Lantern Corps sanctuary, Saint Walker smiled up at the dragon-shaped creature as did the others, a powerful sense of joy and peace bathing over them all just before the blue core flapped its dove-like wings and took to deep space.
Looking over to the other blue lanterns in the meadow, Saint Walker called out to the rest of his corps. “Hope never leaves where it shines it’s light, it only goes to places still trapped in the dark, where the light of hope shines, we will follow…”
“We will follow…” The corps chanted together before taking to the sky, following the blue dragon out into deep space towards Earth.

Planet Oa…
Thousand of lanterns had returned to Oa as fast as they could when their rings began to bring an alert from the guardians. The moment they had returned to the planet at the center of the universe, what they found shocked them. The great core, the battery that housed the green light of will began to cause tremors in the planet, cracking and breaking apart. Giving the core room, the thousands of green lanterns had no idea what was going on. Hal Jordon and John Stewart could only watch as the metallic core’s shell cracked further.
“What the hell is going on?!”
“I don’t know, the ring isn’t telling me anything.”
“Then where are the…” Looking over to the council where the guardians convened, what he saw surprised him; the guardians were cowering together, huddled like children as they watched the core crack and finally explode in a display of green light. Everyone thought there would have been a world-shattering explosion. Instead, the column of light that shone from the core shot up, sprouting wings, limbs, and a head. The dragonoid construct circled the explosion site, giving off a green aura that filled everyone with a sense of… Drive, the will to move forward before it launched itself into deep space.
“What the hell…” Flying over to the council of guardians, the remaining green lanterns surrounded the group of immortal beings looking for answers, what they found instead were a group of terrified elders that looked like a gaggle of children that had been caught after stealing cookies. Each of them looked drawn and worried, rocking back and forth, or holding each other in fear. “What in…” Crouching down, John managed to calm down one of the usually cold and stoic Oans, gaining his attention now that he was not muttering to himself. “Ganthet, what is going on? What happened to the core?”
“He’s back, he’s back, he’s back to reclaim them, back to bring back the living spectrum, we tried to keep order in his absence, tried to keep things orderly, he’s back, he’s back, he’s…”
Gently shaking Ganthet, the small blue man stopped his muttering when he was **** to look up into John’s eyes. “Who’s back Ganthet, who’s come back?”
“Eternicus!”
