"Well i thought that maybe we would simply go for the classic"

"The classic?"

"Dinner at a decent place and a movie."

"That's the classic?"

Alex turns and looks at you for a short bit. "Knowing fully the danger i am putting myself in here i need to ask, when you where still a guy how many dates did you take girls to?"

Your face turns flustered. How do you respond? You really want to slap him. "Two" You respond truthfully.

"Right, okay well here's why dinner and movie works well on first dates. Food is social and a natural place for conversation to happen. Meaning ampel time for us guys to sell ourselves and gater information about the fortunate girl."

You are not really sure how you feel about your husband explaining to you how to get a successful first date with a woman.

"Then afterwards you take the girl to a movie, preferably a movie with as much excitement as possible. Of course if the girl has a movie she says she wants to see you take her to that one. If the girl doesn't have a preference however you should take her to a horror movie. The goal with the horor movie is to have the movie cause the girl to experience adrenalin rushes caused by the scares which afterwards she might interpret as excitement of a more carnal nature. Meanwhile if you manage to keep a calm exterior during the movie her subconscious will flag you as brave and therefore capable of defending her and her future young. This will increase your chance of getting in her pants by the end of the evening."

"Is that right? I never knew that you where such a master of getting into girls pants." You respond holding back your tidal wave of rage that only a pregnant woman can call down on an idiot spouse.

"Yes and since this is the last first date i will ever go to i would like this one to hopefully end with me getting in the girls pants." he says calmly disarming you. You just sitt there in stunned silence for a bit.

"Dinner and a movie sounds nice." you finally admit.

"Great, we are going for the classic."
