The circus

Hidden loud speakers blast circus music while several people wander down the stone streets riding elephants and mules. You look up and see someone walking the electric lines like they were a tightrope. And once the gatekeeper closes the large door he picks up several bowling pins and starts to juggle.

"Umm. Can you tell me where I can find Queen Elizabeth?" You reluctantly ask the juggler/gatekeeper. He nods his head towards a very large red and white tent. A circus big top, have you. It is quite a ways away, and on top of a hill so high that the top of the tent is surrounded by clouds.

"What is the quickest way to get there?" You ask the juggler/gatekeeper.

"Each of these 3 roads," he says pointing in front of him between juggles "will get you there roughly the same time. But if you plan on seeing the Queen, you'll be needing 10 Quid to bribe the guards."

"What's a quid?" You ask.

"Coins, ye fool. Now mind me business and let me get back to work." You not entirely sure what he meant, but leave him alone all the same. You reach into your pocket to see how much money you have. Maybe there is someplace to exchange it for "quids." But much to your surprise your quarters have already changed. They now show a large, fat, smiling man with a golden Q necklace around his neck. You assume this is a quid. Counting your change you come to a total of 3 quid.

Now to choose your root. You look at the three roads pointed out by the juggler/gatekeeper: Clown Way, Freak Lane, and Acrobat Alley.
