The buzzing in her brain might give it away

Sera groaned, bringing her hand to her head as she stumbled backwards. The bliss of the moment was being replaced with a resounding headache, and she couldn't understand why. Had Aphrodite gone back on her word?

The aching feeling began to spread downward, much like her original transformation only in reverse. Sera could feel it spread throughout her face, making slight adjustments again before travelling down into her neck and shoulders. As it reached her arms, Sera could feel the sleeves of her t-shirt begin to pull downward. Was it changing her clothes as well? She turned her head to watch one side, the sleeve beginning to extend even as it pulled apart from the collar. The piece of cloth made its way down her arm, darkening in color along the way. From white to gray to black it changed, reaching down to her fingers. What had been the sleeves of a t-shirt were now twin opera gloves, beautiful and elegant. Blinking a few times to take it in, Sera looked down and noticed her socks had grown out as well, creating a matching set with her gloves.

The rest of her t-shirt was not fit to remain as it was, residing now with such dignified garments on either side. It began to press on Sera's breasts, even as it progressed down from her neck. She moaned at the pressure on her boobs as a golden corset began to take shape, feeling them lift up. She moaned even louder when they began to push back. She couldn't help it: her hands dove for her breasts, cupping and squeezing them as they began to swell again. Sera wasn't unhappy with her original outcome, but a small ping of disappointment had rang out in her brain when her breasts had finished growing; this was being rectified, even as the disappointment was being replaced by more buzzing. Bigger and fuller and heavier, Sera was amazed to discover that they threatened to match Aphrodite's own perfect chest. Sensing this, Aphrodite laughed.

"See? And you were afraid."

Sera could only shudder in response. The buzzing had made its way to her hips, and with a grunt she shifted her weight from one side to the other. With each sway, that side of her body left a little more behind, becoming a bit wider. Her thighs followed, becoming thicker than before. Sera could tell what was happening to her on some subconscious level: she was becoming positively sexy, the next level after the cute-and-comely but otherwise unremarkable girl she first became. She reveled in the feeling, and could tell what was next. True to her instincts, it was her butt that began to swell next, becoming more shapely. Jiggly, even. A hand reached out to squeeze it, Sera moaning at the touch. However, her delight swiftly turned to confusion: both her hands were still on her (growing) chest. No one else had approached her; how was this possible?

Eyes nearly shot out of their skull as the realization came to pass: Sera had grown another arm! Two more, in fact, giving her four delicate hands to continue exploring her body with. She hadn't even noticed before how easy it was to control her new appendages, how natural it now seemed. The new arms had opera gloves on as well, which was odd, but given the supernatural body she now possessed, Sera was quick to dismiss it.

What she could not dismiss was the buzzing. Having worked its way through most of her body, it now seemed to focus directly on two places: her head and her behind. Sera's hands moved to comfort them, two by two, clutching at her brain even as she continued to squeeze her butt. The ache in her head was pushing its way towards the front, and she could sense that something was coming. It was building to a crescendo, blocking out all other senses.

"You're ---ost there, swe---, ju-- let -- hap--n!"

Aphrodite said something, but Sera could not process it. The buzzing had reached the edge of her skull, and wasn't content to stay inside. It pushed out of her head, two pinpoints spots on her temple. Her thumbs rubbed against bumps, and her knees buckled at their sensitivity. She couldn't just feel the nubs; the nubs could feel everything, from the feeling of her gloved hands to the slightest breeze in the room. They extended outward, away from her head before bending and lengthening out into Sera's vision. She recognized what they were, but couldn't begin to believe it. There on her head were two antennae, like a bug! The sensations were incredible, blitzing her neurons, threatening to overwhelm her with information.

A more pressing matter knocked it all away, and that was the feeling in Sera's behind. No, not her butt itself, she realized, but above it, a spike of feeling as something else began to push out. On her knees, she fell forward, cushioned by her boobs as she arched her back and pushed her butt into the air. Now all four of her hands reached behind her, probing for knowledge of what to expect. They were greeted with a sharp point, one that grew bigger and heavier with each breath. Sera closed her eyes as she cried out from the pain, relying only on what her hands could tell her as something extended out. Eventually the growing stopped, and she wiggled her hips; whatever it was, it wiggled back, and she dared to open her eyes again. She knew exactly what this was, and understanding flooded her being.

There was only one thing left, Sera knew. She remained on her hands and knees but shut her eyes once more, wanting to take it in. The buzzing moved where she expected it to, and the sensation was a mixture of pain and pleasure. Her vocal chords made a sound that was meant to be a groan of discomfort, but was more akin to a sexual moaning. A release. As her transformation came to an end, she panted from exhaustion.

It was several minutes before Sera could regain her awareness. Eyes still closed, she took several deep breaths. She couldn't see Aphrodite, but the antennae atop her head could sense the Goddess' presence. The Divine woman was the first to speak.

"You've been depressed all your life, dreaming conflicting dreams. You've been attracted to women, and yet jealous because you weren't one yourself. Repressing your desires deep down, you tried to live as a smart and good man, believing you'd never get what you want. To be loved. To have children. To leave a mark on life itself. Well now's your chance. I made you a girl; that was just step one. It's time to join the big-leagues. Become the woman you were meant to be: not a wallflower, but a queen bee."

Sera opened her eyes, now a golden color to match her motif. They sparkled in the moonlight. The buzzing was gone. The weight had been lifted. She stood up.

"Now go, honey." Aphrodite continued. "There's no need to hold back anymore. You know what to do."

The young woman nodded. As tears fell down her face, she mouthed a thank you before turning to the throne room's wide window. She arched her four shoulders, alleviating the tension in her chitin as her bee wings opened fully. The moonlight caught them, reflecting throughout the room in a beautiful display. With one last look at her Goddess, her friend, she stepped out and took to the sky.

Sera had never felt so light.
