The announcement

A voice is heard through a loudspeaker: “Greetings, ladies and gentlemen, to the ultimate battle of the sexes. The next few days will finally determine which sex is the stronger one.”

The man on your right rocks back and forth impatiently. “Oh, the fun here will only last a few hours at most,” he says confidently. A closer look at him reveals the reason for his self-confidence: an extremely muscular body and extraordinary junk that could make many of men jealous.

Some loudly agree with his statement.

“But first the rules must be clarified,” the voice continues unperturbed. “You are on a small island - the men's hut at one end, the women's hut at the other. As soon as the starting sound rings out, you must all leave your respective huts and may not enter them again until you have been eliminated. Then you even have to return to your hut and wait there until you are picked up by a boat.”

As you listen, your gaze wanders to the left to a rather scrawny guy who, judging by his stare, is either totally focused or completely absent-minded.

The sex that is completely eliminated first automatically makes the other one the winner of this eternal competition.”

You see many confident faces, but also a few doubtful ones. Is this really such a good idea...

“There are chests with more or less useful contents hidden in some places on the island. They could be helpful, especially as they often contain food. As this battle can last for several days, food, drinks and utensils for building a shelter should also come in handy.”

“As I said, it won't take that long,” the muscular man to your right interjects again. Meanwhile, all you hear from your left is an annoyed snort.

“The last rule is that you may only be on your own or team up in pairs of two at most so that drastic outnumbering cannot distort the outcome of the battles. Anyone who breaks this rule will be eliminated.”

“Cool, let's form a team then,” your right-hand seat neighbor extends his hand towards you. “I'm Kyle and it would be a pleasure to put the girls in their place with you!”

“Sorry to butt in,” a finger taps your left shoulder. “My name is Tom and you seem like a good team partner for me.”
