The aftermath...

After a short while we both stood and showered together, lathering each other’s bodies as we giggled and chatted.

When we were done we went to sit on my bed, holding each other and ignoring the still paused game. This was all we needed.

The morning progressed into the afternoon and slowly the rest of the house began to wake. Both Nadine and Mom liked to sleep in when they weren’t working, and the sound of their footsteps in the hallway caused me and Amy to separate from our cuddle.

“Before I forget, I’ve got something for you,” I said, reaching under my pillow and pulling out the box.

Amy took it excitedly, grinning like a child as she popped it open. Her eyes flew open in shock, then she smiled the most beautiful smile I have ever seen. Tears welled in the corner of her eyes as she turned to stare at me.

“It’s beautiful,” she gasped.

“You’re beautiful,” I smiled.

“Can you help me to put it on?” she asked excitedly.

I took the necklace gently out of the box, holding it in front of Amy so that she could have a good look.

She turned around and I draped it carefully over her neck, fussing with the catch to make sure it was on securely.

When I was done she turned to me. The white gold contrasted her tanned skin and dangled tantalisingly above her cleavage, drawing the eye to her pert breasts. It suited her, and from the look on her face, she was taken back by the gesture.

“This must have cost you a fortune!” she said as she thumbed the embellishment. “It’s official now, you really are the best brother.”

“I’m still your only brother,” I laughed.

“You would still be the best,” she grinned, grabbing me and squeezing me in a passionate hug.

“Well, thanks,” I laughed, blushing slightly.

“So I was thinking,” began Amy, deciding it was probably time she left my room and hesitantly standing, “maybe we can make this a weekly thing?”

“It’s a date,” I said, grinning up at her.

She leaned down and kissed me, tongue flicking into my mouth quickly before breaking the kiss.

She then skipped out of my room, stopping at the door to smile contentedly at me before slipping out.

I sat there for a short time before deciding I needed to do something with my afternoon. After the excitement of my morning, I decided it was time to update my manuscript. Nadine would be happy to have more reading material.
