Chapter 13 by Eugene_Oregon Eugene_Oregon

What's next?

The aftermath (the end?)

Once the episode aired, everyone understood why Emma had pulled out of the tournament at short notice, and wasn't seen in public for a few weeks.

It took her days to just leave her room, relying on food service for her meals.

Even though everyone had seen her nude on TV before, being seen so helpless was something completely different. When she did return to the tennis circuit, it didn't take much before she'd break down. A light-hearted heckle at a match would lead to her retiring in floods of tears, and she abruptly ended press conferences if anyone asked her about her experiences on Prank'd!

Her only solace was that her fellow players sympathised with her. Emma hadn't been the first tennis player to be humiliated, and she certainly wasn't going to be the last.

Elena Rybakina and Anna Kalinskaya helped Emma to eventually laugh about it, having both previously fallen foul of the prank team; Elena when she lost her clothes at the spa, and Anna when a road trip went awry and left her hitchhiking naked.

Iga Swiatek and Coco Gauff had both been caught out by secret locker room cameras in the past, but it was with her fellow Brits where Emma found the most solace. Katie Boulter, Heather Watson, Katie Swan, Harriet Dart, and Jodie Burrage had one by one been left naked and embarrassed, until even the most passive of tennis fans knew what every inch of their bare skin looked like.

The Emma Raducanu episode of Prank'd! saw record viewing figures, both when it initially aired, and through countless rewatches online.

The studio decided to throw a party to thank the production staff for their hard work, although the star of the show was absent. Perhaps it was her dress code (clothing optional, but not advised) that put Emma off attending, but the team made do without her. They all laughed and reminisced about how scared and embarrassed Emma had been, with a few openly voicing how disappointed they were that she hadn't wet herself.

The show continued to be popular (after all, the format of the show meant that ratings would never drop off), but the Emma Raducanu episode would go on to be considered as the show's finest moment.

The end?
