The Wild Deep

Yulia et al seem quite pleased at the idea of not going back to the dream path and head to upper Aresque and the tunnel leading to the wild deep. They do as suggested, Cherchiel moves in front, Goma in the middle and Yulia in back, they pass through the tunnel and exit into the Wild Deep, the change in atmosphere is immediately noticeable. The air here is warm and moist, there's lichen and moss covering most of the cave floor and even actual vegetation of various kinds. Bushes and shrubbery obscure the path here making progress difficult, especially since the group is mostly concerned with staring at the ceiling to look out for any droppers.

Unfortunately their focus on looking up, makes it so they aren't watching their step very well. Cherchiel steps forward and there's a loud snap and she screams as a bear trap has closed around her leg. Her armor protected her quite a bit, preventing the trap from breaking or fully removing her leg, but the trap managed to pierce the armor and into the flesh of her leg. Yulia rushes over to help **** it open and they soon get it off of her.

"What the hell is a bear trap doing here?" Yulia asks as she heals the injured leg.

"Do you think the Drow hunt here?" Cherchiel questions as she sighs, feeling better from Yulia's healing.

"I guess..." she says, though she seems uncertain. With Cherchiel healed they continue forward, now looking at the ground and the ceiling as much as possible, though they don't run into anymore bear traps. The Wild Deep splits into three paths which from the lecture they undertook they know to be Air Fortis, Aqua Regis and The Alveare, "so... choose our poison, huh?" she says, but suddenly a scream comes from down the Alveare path.

Someone appears to be in danger. Yulia doesn't even think to hesitate and immediately rushes for the Alveare path, cherchiel and Goma following after her. They arrive at the entrance to the Alveare path and find a Drow woman, she's pinned down beneath a large white slug, a sword lying beside her. She spots the three and panickedly screams for help. Yulia unthinkingly rushes forward, but just before she reaches her, Cherchiel slams into Yulia with her shield.

"Look out!" she yells as she knocks Yulia aside just as another slug drops from the ceiling landing on Cherchiel and slamming her to the ground, pinning her face down beneath it. Yulia gets back to her feet.

"Cherchiel!" she screams, but Goma yells out.

"More!" and points up.

Yulia glances up to see there are three more on the ceiling, quietly moving to try and get above Yulia.
