The Weekend

If someone told me a few months ago that I would be spending the weekend with a bunch of beautiful girls, I would have called them crazy.

But that's exactly what I did.

Lyn, Mio and Amy had prior arrangements to attend to, so I went to the park for a picnic with Jasmine, Heather, May and Emily. Oh, and we also took the dog.

And somehow, Heather convinced Astrid to meet us there.

"H-hi guys," she said nervously as she walked up to us. Maybe it was a good thing that Lyn, Mio and Amy weren't here as they're the ones who hold the biggest grudge against Astrid.

"Thanks for joining us," said Heather, although she didn't give her bestie a hug. There was clearly still some tension between them.

"You're welcome. I'm surprised that you guys even want me around," said Astrid. May and Emily stayed quiet while Jasmine was playing fetch.

"Astrid, it's ok. You have every right to hang out with Heather," I said. Astrid smiled before she sat between me and Heather.

"Um, I know this might be too much, but I can give you a massage. I'm pretty good at it," she said. Um, what?

"Trust me, she is," said Heather as she wrapped an arm around Astrid's shoulders. Well, I guess it couldn't hurt.

"If you're sure, then yes," I said before laying down.

It was the best massage of my life.

The next day, it was just me, Jasmine and Amy.

"So, Amy. How was your night with Heather?" I asked her. She instantly turned bright red and started to stutter, exactly the reaction I was hoping for.

That's when the door flew open and Wendy strutted in.

"You know you could have knocked," I told her, but she shrugged it off.

"Where's the fun in that?" she said while flashing a smile.

"Why did you invite her again," groaned Amy. Wendy smirked before plopping down next to Amy and wrapping an arm around her.

"Because I'm a ton of fun," she said, making Amy roll her eyes.

"I can tell," said a very excited Jasmine.

Oh boy.
