The Visitor

"I'm so sorry," you quickly said to The Amazing Alex, "but I'm late. I really have to go."

The hypnotist just stood there, grinning, arms crossed. Feeling annoyed that this stranger had shown up at your home unannounced, you made to shove past him into the hallway. How had he found where you lived, anyway? It couldn't possibly be a coincidence, could it?

Then he said something, something that sounded like it was a million miles away, not quote a mumble, but equally unintelligible.

"You must come in," you told The Amazing Andy, feeling suddenly generous with your time, "I'm sorry for leaving you out in the hallway like that."

"That's alright, David," he said, taking a step into the room, closing and locking the door behind him, "I'm sure you had a good reason."

"You're not wrong about that," you said, chuckling, "My girlfriend is going to be super pissed that I'm late, but oh well!"

You watched as The Amazing Andy walked through your apartment, looking in your kitchen, checking out your living room, then entering your bedroom. It was so nice to have company, especially with someone you respected and trusted. The Amazing Andy was, after all, one of the people you respected most in the world.

"I see you went shopping last night!" his voice called from the bedroom.

Joining him, you found him fingering through your purchases from Victoria's Secret, laying them out on your bed. So many panties, so many bras. You were especially proud of the pink flower embroidered bustier top he pulled out last, something that you had considered a real find the night before.

"Just a few things that I thought would be fun to wear," you answered, blushing. Sure, there was nothing strange about a guy buying some racy lingerie to wear, but it was a little weird to have a friend go through it. That kind of stuff was usually private.

"And are you?" he asked, turning toward you, "Are you wearing it?"

"Listen, I'm not sure I really feel comfortable talking about this with you, The Amazing Andy," you said, "You're a great guy, but really I don't think that..."

Again he said something, a distant mumble, a roar of thunder, something you couldn't quite hold onto.

"I chose the black lace set," you answered, sliding your jeans down and holding up your t-shirt, "I thought that they made me look tough."

The Amazing Andy grinned again, happy to see you feel so comfortable around him. And why wouldn't you? The Amazing Andy was, after all, your most trusted companion, closer than family, closer than Erica! Thank goodness he had stopped by to confirm your choice of underwear!

"They look great," The Amazing Andy said, "And the lip gloss is a nice touch too. Now, I know your girlfriend is waiting for you. Let's not keep her waiting."

He dropped the top on the bed, turned and walked to the door, and you eagerly followed. It was great having him over, but you really did need to get over to Erica's place.

"I'm so sorry our visit had to be so short," you told him as you held the door open for him, "Want to get together later?"

Again that strange mumbling.

"I can't wait for Erica to meet you," you gushed, "I'm sure she'll love the surprise when I show up with a real live hypnotist!"
