The Viral Challenge Trick
The Internet is full of weird people doing weird things.
The Tape Snap Challenge is no exception.
The idea is that you wrap part of you up- your wrists, legs, whatever- and see how easy (or hard) it is to snap the tape.
Ariel, a Bodybuilder, was convinced by her longtime friend Steve to take part.
'Show how strong you are. Make it look easy,' he said.
She agreed to do it and let him tape her down to a chair.
Less leverage, but still easy for her.
Right?
Wrong!
Steve switched out regular tape for a special blend that is made from metal fiber.
The stuff is used to secure heavy objects for long-term transport.
Ariel is shocked that she can't break out and gets another shock when Steve comes in with his hands behind his back.
"What are you doing? Get this off of me!"
"Not just yet. You need one more thing."
He shows her the gag and she mouths off at him...until he fills it up with something new.
"So... here's the thing. I..."
