The Victims and Users of A New Kind of Dirty Bomb

Some time after the original designs were disseminated, numerous parts across the world began to see occurrences where entire geographical areas would suddenly go silent. These places would vary in size, from a single room in a house to entire city blocks. A huge security gap is blown wide open whenever the phenomenon occurs, disabling cameras, sensors and all sorts of security devices, and rumors speculate the cause being that of a new kind of mind wiping dirty bomb. The deep web describes it to have taken at least two different forms: either as a simple wave emitting device such as a boombox, known to be able to disable everyone within a wide range, or a directed wave emitting device like a loudspeaker, used to affect individuals or small groups. The fate of its victims also vary. Some disappear from existence. Some begin to behave oddly strangely.
