The Third Roommate

Cody, Theresa, and Kai were all college students and rented a house together. They got along at first, but Kai started to get lazy with her part of the cleaning, "borrowing" things, and eating her roommate's food. She was fired from her job and started to be late with the rent and was not doing much to find another job as she was desperately working on becoming an online influencer; though, it was not taking off.

Cody and Theresa came home to finally confront Kai only to find her at her laptop, staring blankly with the swirling pattern on the computer screen reflected in her eyes, and drool running down her chin.

"What the fuck?" asked Theresa.

"Is she hypnotized?" asked Cody.

"Kai, wipe the drool from your chin."

Without changing expression or even closing her mouth, Kai wiped the drool from her chin.

"Put a finger up your nose," said Cody.

Kai put a finger up her nose.

Theresa was bisexual and Cody was straight, and both had crushes on Kai, but she made it clear from day one she was not going to be anyone's "fuck buddy roommie."

Theresa and Cody looked at each other and smiled.
