Once There, The Iron Fleet and The Royal Fleet Would Instigate Skirmishes On The Stepstones Edges, Allowing Ships To Slip Through and Land. Aegon Would Then Attempt To Blockade A Certain Area Of The Stepstones, Before Landing, and Ultimately Taking Them To The Primary Stepstones. Since They Didn't Have The Benefit Of Knowing The Terrain, They Would Focus On Infantry and Levies Being Sailed There. Aegon May Have Given The Stepstones To The Ironborn, But Within The Contract and Legal Document, Was A Certain and Very Special Clause, It Allowed Aegon To Control One Island In The Stepstones. Never Specifying Which, Gave Him Some Leeway, But One Reason He Put It In Their, Was Because He Would Always Need Another Source Of Food, Ores, Or Trade.
