The Strangers, Serena and Crystal

Serena peered out from behind the wall she was behind to spot a figure slowly making their way to her location. She spotted another climbing up a nearby tower to get a vantage point over the field while another purposefully made a bunch of noise somewhere to her right. They were trying to bait her out with the noisy one. If she engages, then the one with the vantage point will most likely shoot her down, but if she shoots at him, the one nearby will be able to quickly get to her location and take her out. She was surrounded and outgunned, but she couldn’t be more excited.

She sneaked her way around the field until she was right behind the guy approaching her location. She raised her gun, aimed, and fired into his back without mercy. The paintballs exploded against his back, and he winced as he quickly put his hands up. Serena didn’t have time to admire her handiwork as she ducked and rolled behind a nearby wall. She could hear the paintballs hit the ground of her previous location as she quickly started running. They knew her location now, which meant that the time for subtlety was over.

Serena reached into her belt and pulled out a grenade. She popped the pin and chucked it at the man who shot at her from up above as she continued to run. She could hear the gun shoot out streams of bullets that hit the barrel she was hiding behind. It didn’t last long since he heard him curse before her grenade exploded and knocked him off the platform. He hit the ground hard, but he screamed out that he was okay as he made his way off the field.

Serena started running only to trip on a particularly long tree root. Luckily for her, it caused the bullets that were being fired at her to miss and hit a nearby tree. She didn’t waste her time and fired back. She barely managed to graze the girl as she put up her hands in surrender. She did see the girl smirk as another person came out of nowhere and shot her in the leg. Serena happily surrendered and walked off the field with everyone else.

“You were awesome, Serena. I can’t believe you almost beat all of us,” replied the woman who was last to get out.

“The four versus one is unfair no matter how you look at it, Dave,” said another one of the guys.

“I told you that it was just for fun. I like the challenge,” responded Serena with a smirk on her face.

“Well, would you like the challenge of dating me,” replied Dave.

“Oh, ready for a round two already,” replied Serena as she raised an eyebrow.

“Ignore him, he’s a bit of an idiot.”

“Hey, I’m a sturdy idiot.”

“You’re hopeless.”

Serena laughed at their antics, but she had other commitments to get to today. She had a skydiving appointment to get to. She said her goodbyes and made her way to her car. Not noticing how her eyes slowly closed and her vision faded to black.

Crystal was lazing around on her couch watching TV. It was a show called My Teen Romantic Comedy is Wrong, As I Expected. She easily fell in love with the characters and the story. It only seemed to get better the more episodes she watched. She didn’t have any plans for today, so she could just sit back and enjoy a piece of quality entertainment. Maybe, she should make herself some popcorn.

She got up from the couch and made her way to the kitchen. Crystal heard a loud thump from below her and figured that Pearl must've knocked something down in the apartment downstairs. She was living in a small apartment since she couldn’t afford her own home. The money she made from voice acting, while good, wasn’t anything too special. Especially, when she had to divert a portion of her earnings into other things. She leisurely made her popcorn when she got a call on her phone.

“Hey Dad, how’s everything going?”

“Good, I finally got the stupid leak fixed.”

“You could’ve paid someone to fix that, Dad.”

“Why pay for something you can do yourself?”

Crystal shook her head as she replied, “How’s mom?”

“She’s fine, but we were more worried about you. I’ve heard that there has been some trouble over where you’ve been living. There’s been an uptick of **** and assaults in the area.”

“I’m fine. I keep my head down and mostly stay at home, so I’m less at risk of being targeted. Plus, I don’t have much to give.”

“Don’t sell yourself short. You’ve got plenty to give and more. You’re my daughter.”

“Okay.”

“If you’re not too busy, then we would like to see you. Your sister’s baby shower is coming up, and we’d like you to be there.”

“I’ll be there.”

“All right, I’ll see you then. Don’t get into any trouble before then.”

Crystal responded, “You worry too much.”

She hung up the phone and muttered, “How much trouble could I possibly get into?”

She sat back down on the couch and slowly drifted off to sleep.

Max stopped being surprised when he saw the last two contestants appear before him. One of them was a dark-skinned woman with black, wavy hair and blue eyes with a slim, but toned body. No noticeable jewelry except for the golden hooped earrings she wore. Her shirt had no sleeves on it, so he could see the weird tattoo she had on her shoulder. He wondered what it was supposed to mean as his eyes scanned the rest of her body. Her tight blue jeans clung to her big ass that he secretly hoped to feel sometime soon.

Max quickly squashed those thoughts as he looked at the other woman. She had long, red hair that was tied up in a ponytail with matching red lips. She had a beautiful face that seemed to suck you in as her brown eyes scanned around her in confusion. There wasn’t anything else noteworthy about her except for her height. She was noticeably the tallest person among all the women here.

“Hello Serena and Crystal, welcome to Harem Hotel. There’s no point in searching for any connection between yourself and the master since your people he’s probably seen or heard in passing, but please introduce yourselves to the audience.”

Serena looked around her in wonder and excitement as she answered, “My name is Serena Wixx, and I’m 22 years old. I love doing interesting and exciting things like Skydiving in my free time. I don’t have any long-term goals other than to add some more excitement to the lives of myself and the people around me.”

Crystal looked concerned as she answered, “My name is Crystal Waters, and I’m 28 years old. I like watching anime in my free time and am a bit of a homebody. My goal right now is to gain some more wealth, so I can get my own house.”

The two of them were about to say something, but Ann once again snapped her fingers as they were teleported into the remaining chairs. She seemed to have silenced them for the moment.

“That’s all eight of our wonderful contestants for this show. I hope that they exceeded your expectations. If not, then you’ll always have a chance to change that later. Now, that everyone’s here, I can finally start explaining the rules and get this show on the road.”
