The Story of Why Aunt Leelee is so Shy.

Growing up, you had a big family.
Many Aunts and Uncles.
Many Nephews.

One that you hadn't gotten too close to yet is Aunt Leelee (as you call her).

The older Woman is really shy and dresses very modestly, even in situation where it makes little sense.

When you had the Family Reunion in Key West, she never went swimming, never seemingly wore a bathing suit and always covered up.

You finally ask her Husband- Uncle Joey- about this during a visit, making sure to do so while she and your Mom are out shopping.

"Well, it is an old story and kind of personal," he explains, "But you are family, so you deserve to know. Plus, it will eventually come out if Aunt June ever ends up on one of those Finds Your Roots Shows. Her new Film is hitting it big.

So, when she was younger, she had to cross the Border to flee War from her Home Country. I'm sure you've noticed her accent slip out at times.

Well, she got caught. Obviously, she got away...but at a cost."

He pauses, considering whether or not to stop.
You encourage him to continue, explaining that you'll be discreet.

"So the Guards were suspicious and wanted to make sure that she wasn't smuggling anything, so..."
"Oh," you reply, "So he...wow...geez."
"She, naturally, did her best to cover up."

"That's horrible. I'm guessing that's not it though..."
