The Sicilian Spirits

Lexie holds your hand all the way through the mountain pass until you reach the random hole in the wall with the large piece of wood that is bolted onto the stone wall that says "The Sicilian Spirits", she enters the tavern "Remember this place?" she asks

"Of course." you reply, still holding her hand tight "How could I forget. You brought me here after we ventured down into the mountain. We talked about our lives, talked about our battles, talked about a ton of things" you let out "Hell, I think I got you off in this place as well." you smile at the Sunrider.

"Yeah yeah..." she smiles at you as she pulls your body into the Tavern "I let you do that...obviously."

"Yeah, obviously..." you smile at Lexie, bearing your teeth with such a friendly smile. "Maybe we can have an encore?" you laugh at the Sunrider but she only blushes as she pulls you harder into the tavern, bringing you over towards an empty seat.

As you look around you see that the tavern is quite packed with Syndicate members, the line to "The Scorcher" is as long as can be and you see many other random warriors standing around. You just wanted to have a drink, grab some food and enjoy the presence with Lexie.

"So, Darien" Lexie takes a drink out of her goblet of rum, downing almost half the cup "The main reason why I wanted to talk with you...to get you alone..." she hesitates, her hand brushing up across her ear, wrapping the strand of hair behind her "Thank you for saving me." she said " Rathkin warriors would have probably constantly used me over and over again, **** me constantly, abused my body..." her eyes drop down to the ground, her eyes close, "I still feel bad for the sisters I left..." her hands interlock as she brings them her to chest, whispering a soft prayer that you couldn't make out.

Eventually her eyes open again, looking at you once more "You came for me...you really did. I went back into the city with Ashe, to help her, to help find Luna, to save our leader..." her head tilts to the ground as she looks down "I'm sorry about Lu..." she pauses before she corrects herself "About Claire. I'm sorry about her. I really am. So before this night even begins, know this, I'm grateful for you, grateful for you saving my life, rescuing me, and trying your best to save Claire." her eyes close as she huffs out a giant sum of air "I know she was more to you than just a leader..."

You breathe in a giant sum of air, filling your entire body "Lexie..." you finally let loose "I wouldn't be where I was if it wasn't for you." you sigh deeply "You brought me into the Syndicate...you showed me around...you took care of me." your hand reaches up, lightly cupping the side of her cheek, grazing it slowly with your thumb as you stare into her eyes "I'm devastated that Claire is gone..." your eyes drop to the floor, they start to coat in a thin layer of liquid "but..." you stutter "but there are other people in this world I care about..." you rub the side of her cheek, smiling into her eyes "People I will continue to fight for." you look at her, your grin showing you care for her.

She brings her hand up, cupping your hand that is rubbing her cheek "Thanks Darien..." she grumbles out "I owe you everything...I owe you my life." her eyes lock onto yours, showing how faithful she is.

Two mugs of Ale get placed on the table you sat at, you each grab your mugs and take a hefty gulp of the ****. "So tell me Lex..." you smile at the brunette before you "Tell me about you. Tell me what makes you tick."
