The She-Devils of the Savage Land

Upon seeing the two mysterious women cutting down the spiders surrounding her and her friends, Lara seized the opportunity to aid them. Barb'ra and D'yanna were quick to react, as well, and soon, they had slain Kraven's beasts, and were staring him down.

Kraven looked around. Cheetah was nowhere to be found.

"That coward," Kraven muttered before turning his attention to the archaeologist. "You have impressive luck, outsider. But I'll hunt you down eventually... and when I do, only one of us will be left standing."

Kraven retreated into the shadows, disappearing once again.

Lara turned and extended her hand in gratitude. She once again felt a surge of excitement course through her upon seeing the stunning women who had come to her rescue... the feeling never got old.

"Thank you for your help," Lara said gratefully. "I don't believe we've met. I'm Lara..."

"La-Ra. The outsider -- I know of you. You have taken quickly to the ways of the Savage Land. I am Shanna, and this is Sonja, my companion," the blonde answered quickly, gesturing at the redhead standing next to her.

"You know who I am?" Lara asked, all the more curious about the two mysterious beauties standing in front of her. She reasoned that if these two were anything like the rest of the Savage Land women she'd encountered, that they were almost definitely lovers, and that at some point, she'd be writhing in bliss between their naked bodies. After Barb'ra also greeted the She-Devils, Shanna once again turned to Lara. "As you have no doubt been informed, La-Ra, the Savage Land is dying. Something -- somewhere, has removed the Sapphire of the Nuwali from its resting place, and our home grows sicker with each passing moment. Some of us have appealed to those watching over the Savage Land to bring us a champion to restore her to her former glory. You have a history of procuring ancient relics, do you not?"

Lara nodded. A chosen champion? It all seemed so cliche. And yet, here she was, fitting the exact description of the heroine that Shanna and the women of the Savage Land had been pleading for. "I accept your offer," Lara said, feeling that she'd need all the help she could get for the trials to come. "Right now, We're looking to visit the village of the X-Tribe. Would you be willing to accompany us?"

"Of course," Shanna answered. "We are very close with the X-Tribe; they will be valuable allies to you."
