The S.H.I.E.L.D. Device Reveals Moonstone's Manipulation

Data scrolled across the screen. Sue Storm recognized the modulation of her brainwaves—benefit of a lifetime around one of the world's most brilliant scientists. She'd lost count of the times she'd ask him to watch the children and return to find one of them strapped into a brainwave scanner.

"Look," the Invisible Woman pointed. "Here—the delta brain wave. Those are normally associated with deep sleep."

"And states of intense suggestibility," Maria Hill said, the S.H.I.E.L.D. commander said. "Such manipulation is part of advanced indoctrination procedures. But how is she triggering such a state?"

Sue found herself staring at Maria Hill's chest. The black fabric was stretched taut across her chest. Not the biggest breasts, but Sue wondered what kind of bra the woman was wearing under that. And what it would look like if she pulled the zipper down to expose that cleavage...

The answer came to Sue Storm in a flash. The glowing eyeglasses, those strange auras that sometimes surrounded Karla Sofen's head.

"Gravity," the Invisible Woman said with certainty. "Moonstone has gravity-manipulation powers. She normally uses them for super strength and flight, but if she was able to direct them...she might be able to alter my brain chemsitry."

Maria Hill frowned. "Karla Sofen's file doesn't mention gravitic manipulation on that scale. How did she develop that ability?"

Sue shook her head, eyes still locked on Hill's chest. The Invisible Woman rubbed her thighs together. She wasn't sure why Hill's hills were suddenly catching and holding her attention; it wasn't something that Sue had really ever noticed before. Now, they were inescapable.

"I don't know," Sue said, tearing her eyes away with effort. "But Reed has antigravity tech and sensors. He should be able to rig me up some kind of harness that detects and counters gravitic manipulations."

The S.H.I.E.L.D. commander leaned back, inadvertantly emphasizing her chest again.

"Is that the best idea? We have enough evidence now to move on Moonstone. We can call the Avengers, come down on her like a hammer," Maria Hill said. She looked up at Sue, who immediately raised her eyes from the other woman's breasts. "We still don't know what Moonstone's purpose in manipulating you is. The more sessions you go to, the further you might fall into her clutches."

"We need to know who her secret partner is," Sue insisted. "It's not enough to get Sofen. I want whoever is behind this attempt."

Maria Hill sighed. "Okay. One more session. But this time, you go with backup."
