Holly sat in place and watched the absurdity of Paul trying to convince himself he was being rather decent about all of this. She said nothing, realising her interjections hadn't done her any favours so far and hoping he might still talk himself out of what seemed to be inevitably coming next.

"There are some rules you need to obey. Holly, you will always have your phone switched on and respond to my messages the moment you receive them. If I tell you to be somewhere, you will drop whatever you are doing, travel there instantly and, if necessary, wait for me to arrive. You will not have boyfriends, or any romantic interactions or sexual activity with other guys, or even with girls unless I instruct you to. You are mine"

Again, Holly sat in place wordlessly, knowing those instructions were now her reality. It was not the time to argue about them. There may be a point in the future where she could talk Paul down from at least some of this, but as long as she was naked and he was horny it was not his conscience that would be guiding him. She watched as he whipped his phone from his pocket and pointed it at her.
