The Quest Continues

The next morning Willow told me the centaurs had tracked down the last troll and used arrow heads laced with the goblins poison to take it down. We spared as we had done the morning before and me Aurora and Willow all took a bath together and we headed out. Ava did a little scouting to look for any threats from the sky but luckily there were none. We passed trough a couple of elven villages. Each unique with there own feel but still very elvish. We stopped to make camp at the last one that sat on the edge of a meadow.

The arch magus showed me the spell to draw the symbols onto the rocks which made them as malleable as clay to the touch then poked my finger with my knife and traced the symbols in the rocks with my blood. The rocks were small enough I could carry them with me when we left. Next we drew out the boundaries using a small trail of dirt, chalk could be used as well for indoors. Once that was done all I had to do was cast the spell which was a pretty long incantation. Especially since I wanted to add a sound proof element to the mix to block out any noise from the outside as well as any we might make inside the tent as well and make the tent invisible for similar reasons. The magic drained me some but not to badly and I only needed to use it at the end of the day.

Me and Aurora discussed the nature of the magic with the arch magus as we sat and ate at the camp fire. Basically it didn't have to be square though making something like an octagon would require more stones and more magic. Several casters could share in the casting for larger areas. She had mentioned that the school itself once had a similar barrier that only allowed those who possessed magic to enter. It took one hundred mages to hide the entirety of the school. After dinner me and Aurora went inside the tent. I tested the spell by calling out to Ava and waving at her but she could neither see me nor hear me.

"Well that seems to work." Aurora said inside the tent.

"So it would seem." I nodded climbing in the tent myself. Our little friend sitting on her shoulder.

"The real question is will it protect you?" I said and sat down beside her on the bedroll. She held out her hand and I gripped it by the wrist encase I needed to put the ring back on. By **** if necessary. I slid it off and kept it in hand. She took a deep breath in and smiled.

"How do you feel?"

"A little horny but its controllable." She smiled. "It feels a little like I am being pulled toward the direction we are going." While the elder grove was one of the first trees found by the elves the world tree was by far the largest and the source of elfin magic. Aurora sat down the fairy and pulled the dress she wore over her head as I got out of my jack of plate and chain mail. I saw the fairy fly up and kiss Aurora's nipple making her laugh.

"She is a naughty one." Aurora laughed.

"And then some." I replied.

"I think she can sense I am aroused like the other night." Aurora smiled.
