The Adventure Continues

The following story is a continuation of the story The Journey Begins

I went through my pack making sure I had everything for the trip. I had been tasked with a handful of others to head into the elven kingdom with several others to go to capital city and escort by the half elf Princess Seren to bring her home to be the Queens maid of honor at her wedding.

"How many times are you going to check. You have everything." Rose teased as she came down the staircase.

"It's a long way to come back if I don't. You sure you and Felicia will be okay with out us?"

"I have the tavern and the kids and Felicia has enough work to keep her busy." Rose smiled. Rose had been busy teaching elves, half elves, and human kids who could do magic how to use it. Those who could do magic but were orphans were quickly adopted by the women once they showed how they could use their magic to help farm the land or other practical skills Rose had taught them. Roses father wasn't happy about her openly using her magic but he would come around eventually.

Felicia was busily helping build a farming community on what had become known as Widows Hill because of the number of widowed women who had taken to working the flat areas into small farms. On the plus side finding men who would work for cheap to help build cabins from wood and stone was easy with all the women up there. The area was starting to look like large steps with one farm just above the other and all of them feed from water from the large tarn at the top.

"You just worry about you and Aurora." Rose said kissing my cheek.

"I love you." I smiled.

"I know." She teased brushing one of her stray red locks back over her ear.

"Hey. You ready?" I said noticing Aurora coming down the staircase in a lovely leather riding outfit that showed off all of her curves. Her lovely blonde hair was braided behind her for riding. This trip was as much about her as it was for the Queen. Aurora wore a ring that protected her from the calling to be a priestess of the elven goddess. Outside of this house she would became sex crazed slut with only limited periods of sanity without the ring. Plus she could speak fluent elvish and I only knew about a hundred words.

"Yep." I packed everything back in and then headed out of the house and toward the cabin which I had built. The main house had a barrier that protected it. No one could enter the barrier or even see the house unless I led them through. The cabin was to assure that no one caught on that their was a place hidden my magic just beyond. We came and went through the cabin which had a front and back door. The horses were already saddled and ready.

"You two be safe." Rose said giving me a hug and a kiss and then hugged Aurora tightly. While I wouldn't call them lovers per say most of the times I had sex with one of them it usually ended up included the other.

"We will." I nodded and we headed out. We reached the fort at Hunter's Rest before the rest of our group arrived. While the fort itself had a lot of construction to go the main courtyard was finished as was the two gate houses on the east and west side. Next would come the barracks to the south and the keep to the north.

"My lord." A few of the men said as I passed and I nodded. Though it had been a month since I was knighted I was still getting used to it. The position of forester I loved. I was maybe a little to good at it since I had to do very little work myself now.

I had trained a few guys with some experience with archery and hunting and then had them train others how to shoot. Every man in every tent across the river could now at least fire a bow and arrow or a cross bow. Plus every new recruit in the camp had to learn to make arrows and crossbow bolts per the captains orders even if we didn't need all of them. I had started training the men up at River's End as well even if it was a little out of the land the queen had honored me with me to protect they still sometimes hunted the same woods as us.

"Hey there handsome." Vixen said crossing the bridge into the keep heading back to the brothel. She had become a favorite of the captain who paid her enough to ensure no other man could have her and as far as I knew she kept it that way. She was more madam then whore now running the whore house while madam Emerald was away at her other brothel north of the town in Fairhaven or at the camp in Greenhills to the east which serviced the soldiers coming and going from the war.

"Vixen, pleasure to see you as always." I smiled hoping down and kissing her hand. She didn't stay and talk for long and went on her way. I saw the small troop coming up the road lead by the elven Princess, Willow. Though the tomboyish elf wasn't like most princesses, hell nothing like one at all really. She fought, drank, and sleep around more then some human men.

"About time you got here." I joked acting like we had been here for hours.

"I had to wait on the Mages." Willow said hoping off and came up and hugged me. With the war going on I hadn't seen her in almost a month. We had both fought and been injured at the battle of Goblintown. She pulled away and gave me a peck on the lips.

"Why are the mages coming along?" I glanced over. I was surprised to see the arch magus step out.

"Hell if I know. Must be important to send the head witch herself. And this must be Aurora." Willow said walking right past me and took Aurora's hand. "I had heard you were beautiful but I think that word does not do you justice."

"Thank you." Aurora blushed.

"Behave yourself Willow. Willow is the one I was telling you about. She is like you. One called to become a priestess but didn't."

"And this must be the ring I heard about. Don't suppose you would mind taking it off for me later."

"Okay. That's enough out of you." I shook my head at Willow.

"Hello again." A voice said and I looked up to see a Valkyrie. The one who had tended my wound after the battle at goblin town.

"It's good to see you again. Are you coming as well?"

"Yes. With the arch magus." She nodded.

"I am sorry I didn't get your name last we met?"

"It's Ava. I am glad to see you back to full health." She smiled and offered her hand which I took and kissed. I introduced her to Aurora. We headed out and went on our way west. We would cross the border and reach the elderwoods by nightfall since the weather seemed to be perfect. It was summer now so the trek through the Kingswood in the shade was nice.

"You brought a lot of men with you just to escort us?"

"Saw that did you? There has been movement along the border of the darkwoods."

"You think the dark elves are planning something?"

"I have no clue. Now would be the ideal time for them to strike. Queen Rhianna wouldn't be able to offer much in the way of support from the army since much of the human forces are to the east and they have superior numbers counting their army. Or I could just be paranoid. Either way I will not leave until my cousin is brought back home safely so you are stuck with me. But i wouldn't worry to much. We have the hero of goblintown. The goblinsbane himself in our escort. Lord of the Kinswood." She mocked me.

"Are we really going to do this again your royal highness."

"Yes my lord.." She nodded.

Luckily we made it without incident. I had never realized it before given my few visits to the place but there was a barrier that protected the grove. Ava, the arch magus, and the mages had to be led through. Aurora managed to pass through without help. Possibly since she was an elf or given that she belonged here."

"Welcome everyone." The high priestess smiled as she came down the walkway toward the road.

"Thank you for letting us into your forest high priestess."

"Thank you for coming to see us. We see to few outsiders these days. I have prepared a feast for you all. This way." She lead us in. I could see the arch magus and her escorts were a little confused when the high priestess took us to a to a table in a small grove instead of inside to eat. The food was delicious as always. We had a few elven women join us who I could tell had come because of the goddesses calling. The one time in the year when elves went into heat for lack of a better word. Willow as usual was quick to catch on as well though she was a little subtler then normal. I did however notice that the woman she was talking to left and a few minutes later she excused herself as well.

"Don't we know you from somewhere?" One of the elves across from me asked along with her sister. They looked so much alike that I was sure I couldn't tell one from the other.

"Depends if you are familiar with hunters rest?" I shrugged.

"We are opening a shop there." The other said.

"Ah. The elven sisters. Tailors if I remember right."

"Yes. how did you know" The first elf smiled.

"I was the land owner."

"Then you have our thanks. I am Iola and this is Ellyn."

"The seller told us about the discount you gave us. We were lucky that we were run off by the orcs. They may be brutes but they lets us leave with what we could carry. We were worried about making a living but then you brought all the women from goblin town. We mostly get paid in food right now but we won't starve at least and it is close enough for us to the border so we don't have to travel so far for our yearly pilgrimage." Ellyn smiled.

"Perhaps his lordship can order some new clothes so he more looks the part when he gets back." Aurora spoke up as she wiped off her mouth.

"We could do that. We can even take your measurements tonight if you like." Iola smiled as I felt her foot caress my leg under the table. I kind of knew what they wanted to measure and it wasn't my shoulder length.

"I will think about it." I smiled. We finished eating and one of the priestess led me and Aurora up to our room.

"It's so beautiful here." Aurora said looking out the window as the sunset painted a beautiful picture.

"Your welcome to stay if you like." I teased.

"I didn't say I liked it that much unless you were to stay with me. My home is with you." She smiled and sat on the bed. A knock came at the door."

"Hello High Priestess." I smiled.

"Sorry I didn't get a chance to greet you personally." She said and came forward giving me a kiss.

"It''s okay. You had new guest."

"But I always have time for my lovers. Thank you for the copy of the book I found it very useful." She smiled referring to the book I had gotten from Willow that contained magic considered taboo by many elves.

"Glad to help." I nodded.

"This is her?" The priestess smiled and walked to Aurora.

"Yes."

"Wow. You are beautiful. I can see why the goddess picked you." She said brushing Aurora's cheek.

"Thanks." Aurora blushed brightly.

"You have a strong aura. If your life would have played out differently you would easily be a high priestess one day if not already." The Priestess reached down and took her hand. "The Queens magic has gotten stronger then last we had meet but I wouldn't stay here long. I am sure you have began to feel the goddesses calling already."

"A little yes." Aurora nodded.

"This should help." The priestess pulled a small vial from her cleavage. "Take three drops a day while you are here. One at dawn, one at noon, and one at dusk."

"Thank you high priestess." Aurora smiled.

"I am always happy to help." The priestess gave her a kiss on the cheek. "I will leave you two now. I should go see where Willow got off to knowing her."

""Thank you high priestess." I smiled and she gave me another kiss on the way out.

"So are you going to go seem them?" Aurora asked after the high priestess had left.

"See who?"

"The twins. You know for your measurements. They weren't exactly subtle about what they wanted from you."

"Glad you cleared that up. I thought it was just me." I teased.

"I don't mind if you do. We both know why they are here. Hell even I feel it in this place." Aurora smiled. I hadn't thought about that and she hadn't bothered to tell me. The ring wasn't powerful enough to protect her fully in this place. At least she wasn't on her knees begging me to fuck her like the first time we took the ring off.
