The Promise

Rose sat beside you, playing with your fingers as you beheld her otherworldly beauty "Are Upir always so warm?" You asked.

The Redhead shook her head "No... usually, we're even colder than Vampires. I missed being warm, Lucia is like a sun inside me." She smiled a little as she touched her belly.

"What about Ludwig?"

She smiled "He's... elusive, but..." She shook her head.

"Come on, but what?" You pushed playfully, putting your arm around her.

Rose sighed, relaxing unconsciously into you, taking your hand and placing it on her inflated belly. You could... feel them in there, One bright and alive like a flame, the other quiet but gentle and watchful. Ludwig was specifically very watchful of you, the darkness inside Rose was soft and happy in your presence. "He doesn't like it when I'm away from you." She whispered.

You brushed on of her hairs from her face "Why did you try and run from me?"

Rose was a reserved woman, she held on to her ideal that much was clear, but as cold as she could be, she melted in your arms.

"I'm scared." She admitted, looking worried.

You sighed "You can't tell me why?"

"I will, I swear to you I will, I don't want to ever hide anything from you... not ever again." She whispered.

"Again?"

The Redhead became serious "I've done things, terrible things, I wasn't human before... I didn't understand what it was like to be ****, I just hope that when the time comes, that You forgive me."

"What could you ever do to make me that upset?" She mentioned doing something to Nox... and deep down... something...

SLOTH

"Ugh, stop!"

You grunted trying to fight the Vibrations that threatened to consume your mind again. "I can't keep going on like this, when is it going to end?" You growled to yourself.

Rose touched your face "Don't worry about that, just stay here with me, please?"

You nodded "I will... but when whatever all this is comes to a head, I need you to tell me everything."

"I will, I swear." She promised.
