Chapter 3 by Zeebop Zeebop

Are the images real or fake?

The Photos Are of An Alternate Susan Storm

At least it looked like Sue Storm. Yet the Invisible Woman couldn't remember ever posing for such pictures. She scrolled through the dozen or so photos available and began to see little discrepancies. The hair too long. Lipstick in a shade of green that Sue had never worn. The nipples were smaller and pinker, and there were no stretch marks.

JVD: Clone?

SSR: Don't even joke about that! No, I think...I think this might be another Susan Storm. The closer I look, the more I see little differences. I think this might be an alternate version of me. From another universe.

JVD: Crazy! But I guess we've encountered that sort of thing before. Didn't Jen have a whole thing with duplicates of superheroes coming in over here?

SSR: She just said that because she doesn't want to admit she slept with the Juggernaut.

Sue chewed on her lip. She looked down at her breasts, fuller and with puffier, darker nipples than the woman in the photo, for all that they otherwise appeared to be the same age. It was definitely her, and yet not her, at the same time.

Well my other self, Sue thought bitterly. I wish you weren't quite such an exhibitionist! You're going to ruin my good reputation.

JVD: So, are you going to tell Reed?

SSR: That I think an other-dimensional duplicate is out there taking her clothes off in front of the cameras? I suppose I should.

JVD: If you wait too long, she might get a lot more exposure. So far, I've only found these on a superheroine fanatic dark net site. But you know how the tabloids love this kind of thing.

SSR: You're right, you're right, I know you're right.

Sue sighed. This was the last conversation she wanted to have with Reed right now. They hadn't really had much going on in the bedroom lately, and she didn't want him to take it the wrong way.

"Not that he could get it up for me," she mumbled under her breath. Something she wasn't going to confess to Janet van Dyne.

As if on cue, the door opened. Reed Richards stumbled in, a white labcoat over his Fantastic Four uniform, a tablet in one hand and a cup of steaming coffee in the other. Based on the stubble on his face and the bags under his eyes, Mister Fantastic had been up all night again.

"Darling," Sue said with a sigh. "I have to show you something. It's...kind of important."

To his credit, Reed put down the tablet and walked over to her. She was pleased at this conscientious show of undivided attention. Sue showed him the phone, and described her thoughts on the naked blonde that posed so salaciously.

How does Reed Richards respond to Sue's hypothesis?
