Chapter 3 by Zeebop Zeebop

Are the images real or fake?

The Photos Are Real - But It's Valeria von Doom!

It looked like Sue Storm. Very much so. Yet the more the Invisible Woman looked, the more sure she was that this was someone else.

Familiar, yes. At a glance, Invisible Woman could see the resemblance. Why someone would mistake the young woman that exposed herself in those photos for a younger Sue Storm. There was the same swell of breast, the same pink nipples that Sue had before she became pregnant. Yet Sue's breath caught in her throat as she recognized a certain birthmark, an irregular cafe-au-lait blot on her hip—a birthmark that Sue knew well. She had seen it many times, on the body of her daughter Valeria!

Of course, this could not be Valeria as she was now. As Sue Storm scanned the face, she saw tell-tale tanlines on upper arms and thighs—and then she recognized who this had to be.

Valeria von Doom! A 19-year-old version of Valeria from an alternate future, one in which Sue had married Victor von Doom after Reed's ****. The blonde teenager had traveled back in time, garbed in partial armor over her arms and legs. Yet when her task had been fulfilled, Val had returned to her own timeline—and then later, Sue Storm had given birth to her own daughter and named her Valeria.

How could she be back? Sue wondered to herself. _Why? And what the heck is that young lady doing stripping in these old photos!?- - - - - -

SSR: It's not me. See that birthmark on the hip? I don't have that. However, I think I know who she is. A—close relation. I didn't know she'd started taking clothes off in front of the camera. I need to get in touch with her.

JVD: Well, I might be able to help with that. The images were uploaded to a deep web site that specializes in superheroines. Tony and I monitor it regularly to look for any breeches of privacy. I can probably put you in contact with the uploader. I have no idea what they'll want for info, though...

SSR: I need to find her, Jan. It's important.

Sue Storm sighed. She hadn't expected to deal with this kind of shenanigans—time-traveling children from alternate timelines was a bit much for any parent. The Invisible Woman finished dressing as she debated what, if anything, she should tell the others. All she had right now were a few photographs of a nude teenager; it felt wrong to expose that to her father and uncles. Yet at the same time, Sue wasn't sure whether handling this business on her own was a good idea. Of course, she had a few friends she could trust—Jennifer Walters, the She-Hulk, was a lawyer; and Jessica Jones used to be a private detective and still had contacts that could be helpful.

The heroine chewed the thought over as she made her way to the kitchen, where her proper timeline children would be hungry for breakfast.

Who does Sue Storm tell about Valeria von Doom's photoshoot?
